Waking up with Wallis Lake water views we are also located only a short distance from Forsters crystal clear waters and lakeside nature reserve home to the sweet chirps of beautiful birds, pelicans, dolphins, swans, owls, kangaroos, and deer.
The perfect holiday home for a keen fisherman with a kayak, parking space to bring your own boat( tinni on site not supplied due insurance reasons) entertain the kids at the netted ocean baths or children's park across the road, or cuddle up to that special someone near the wood fire and admire the best view of the sunset from Bream Cottage.
After a relaxing night's sleep in the comfort of the self contained cottage situated on Wallis which sleeps a maximum of 5 guests, you may opt to make the short 20 minute drive to some of the best beaches of the East Coast of Australia.
Forget about the stress of finding a car park near by after a long relaxing day you can be comforted by the car port parking offered at the cottage. Don't be alarmed if you forgot to pack your marshmallows to roast by the wood fire out front, the General Store Pollards is located in the street directly behind Bream Cottage.
Don’t waste your money or stress yourself with placing your pet in an expensive kennel, Bream Cottage is PET FRIENDLY!

Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Deposit of 50% non refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 7 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it.
Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is (TIMEOUT) by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared
Linen is to be supplied by the tenant.
Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.

Let us have late checkout which was fantastic. best to bring own doona cover as well as sheets. Had a little problem with red ants .. best to put all food in fridge. Need to bring all things you need, sugar, salt and pepper, aluminium foil. Can walk to shop to buy things you might have forgotten. Enjoyed walks and boating. Remember the mozzie repellent!!! Would go back, had a great time.
Wow!! what an awesome little spot perfectly peacefull, with fabulous views over the water, so wish we could have stayed longer so much to explore the cottage oozes character and everthing we needed for a comfortable stay.

As always loved the cottage. I have contacted the owners to let them know the hot water service is possibly set at too high a temperature for little children, but we had no complaints.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay and will be back again. Great for fishing and crabbing or just relaxing watching the lake and listening to the birds
