Delightful fully furnished, self-contained flat set among landscaped gardens with stunning views of our alpaca farm on the beautiful and secluded Harcourt North plateau, just 25 minutes from Castlemaine and Bendigo, and 75 minutes from Melbourne.
The flat is set among landscaped gardens with stunning views of our alpaca farm. It has a bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, bathroom, lounge, kitchen/living room and large front and back verandah. It is fully self-contained with washing machine, refrigerator, gas oven, microwave, slow combustion wood heater, 46" television and DVD player, antique pine dresser, queen-sized bed, lounge suite, original artworks and other furnishings. There is a wide-ranging DVD collection, library and sets of games including Scrabble and Mah Jong. Wi-Fi access is available.
Guests have full use of the house block and so share with us its gardens, patio, gas barbeque, large vegetable garden, orchard, dam and jetty. They also have full access to tracks and walkways on our property, recognizing it is a working farm with valuable livestock. Some pets may be accommodated, and a pet enclosure is available, by prior arrangement.
The flat abuts the side of our homestead and we are happy to show guests around and introduce them to our alpacas and Wiltshire Horn sheep (and itinerant kangaroos and birdlife), and to advise them on the attractions of Central Victoria.

Two wonderful nights in Harcourt North What an absolute gem of a location and fantastic accommodation We enjoyed every moment and can not wait to return
Thank you so much Jenny and Keith
Lovely location let down by lack of cleanliness
This certainly is a beautiful property and the owners are very nice however of significance was the fact that the accommodation hadn’t been cleaned much (I chose this accommodation as I had read good reviews about cleanliness). I refer to the bathroom (particularly the sink and shower), the kitchen (particularly the sink, oven knob had food debris on it, fridge door shelf). A significant disappointment when cleanliness is essential in the accommodation industry. The bed was comfortable - good mattress and clean sheets.
It was lovely to walk alongside the paddocks of alpaca and sheep, and gain information about farming alpaca.
Beautifully presented property.
Enjoyed two cozy nights in front of the log fire and a trip into Castlemaine during the day.
WOW We loved our stay with Jenny and Keith at Harcourt
Accommodation fabulous Views superb Hosts brilliant
Perfect stay to enjoy the Harcourt Hills. A great place to wake up. The alpacas were a delight.
We had a fabulous time at this beautiful farm with our 3 year old son. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, and attentive to everything you could possibly need. The grounds are stunning with flocks of cockatoos and parrots in the trees, and dozens of kangaroos in the fields in the evenings. Our son loved the alpacas and bottle feeding the lamb. The flat itself is really clean, very well equipped and very cosy. We will definitely be back!
