About the property

This large, bright and sunny one bedroom apartment is beautifully furnished and very well equipped, making it the perfect place for your stay in Hobart.

Apartment No 3 is one of four apartments in a character 1950s building. The apartment is very private and peaceful and is located at the back of the building, with a large private deck overlooking a tree-lined rivulet,

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking up a storm, with full size oven and cooktop, large fridge/freezer, microwave and dish-drawer dishwasher. There is even a pod coffee machine for the caffeine addict! Not the cooking type, then take advantage of the central location and eat out in one of the many fantastic eateries that Hobart has to offer (we have a few suggestions in the apartment, to get you started!).

The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is an additional rollout bed that can be setup, if required.

The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and the luxury of a heated floor. There is a full laundry with a washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.

It is an easy walk to the city center, historic Battery Point, Salamanca, the University and the village of Sandy Bay.

The large deck gets lovely morning sun, making it a great breakfast spot, whilst the afternoon shade means that it is perfect for sitting out on a warm day. A large reverse cycle air-conditioner will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. The apartment is fully insulated and has double glazing, very important for those chilly winter nights. We take our heating seriously at the apartment!

A large LED TV and DVD player, plus a selection of movies, will keep you entertained. We also provide free Wi-Fi. For those looking for something a bit less high tech why not take the time to read a book from the selection available at the apartment.

This unit is perfect for a romantic weekend or as a base for your business travel (a great alternative to a hotel room).

AREA

Apartment No 3 is situated at the end of a dead-end street, opposite a leafy park at the front and bordering a rivulet at the back.

It is about 1.5km from the city center (about 20 minutes walk) and less than a kilometer from Sandy Bay Village and Battery Point. There are a number of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The University of Tasmania is only a short walk away.

We provide free NBN WiFi at the apartment.

IMPORTANT: BED CONFIGURATION

Please note that the second bed is a single rollout bed. While it is a full sized single bed it is low to the ground and may be best suited for a child. Also be aware that there is only 1 bedroom and it does not have a door so cannot be fully separated from the living room.

IMPORTANT: CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES

Check-in time is after 2pm

Check-out time is before 10am

Guests agree to adhere to the above check-in and check-out times unless a variation has been agreed, in writing by us, at least 7 days prior arrival.

Please understand that our cleaners have busy schedules and we cannot vary these times at short notice. Also understand that we cannot vary these times when we have other guests departing or arriving the same day.

Please note that we do not have left luggage facilities at the property & cannot store your luggage outside agreed check-in and check-out times.

Wonderful!!

Such a beautifully decorated apartment, and we couldn't have asked for a better location! It was perfect for my partner and I - we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen space and spending a few of our nights watching the range of movies provided by the owners. It was a quick walk to the city centre and Salamanca markets so it's perfect for a brief holiday or extended trip. Being across from the Fitzroy Gardens also makes it easy for having picnics and morning walks!

Great apartment

Loved Apartment 3! Was at the rear of the property so very private and quiet. Comfortable couch and bed was good. Parking is a bit tricky but once we had it worked out was fine. Just so hilly in Hobart! 10 minute walk to Battery point and another 10 into town. Got fit with all the walking. Loved it.

Perfect get away

Our quiet secluded apartment was the perfect place to stay for our short getaway. Tastefully renovated it had everything we needed. The lovely morning sun flooded in each day. Well located within walking distance of Sandy Bay, Battery Point and Salamanca Place and across the road from a lovely park. Only mild criticism was that the Internet speed could have been a bit higher. Highly recommend.
