About this property

North Mission Beach town home with peak ocean view. OLD REVIEWS ARE BECAUSE PROPERTY HAS NOT BEEN RENTED SINCE 2018. COMPLETELY REMODELED SINCE OLD REVIEWS, VERY DIFFERENT UNIT WITH NEW EVERYTHING. IGNORE COMMENTS ABOUT CONDITION, THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL NOW AND MY PERSONAL HOME. Only steps to the Pacific Ocean on one side of the street, & Sail Bay on the other side of the street. Patio w/ BBQ available for use. If you see a hot tub in the photos, as of the moment I am writing this it works great, but it is 25 years old so we don't guarantee it. Please confirm beforehand if you want to use it. The property is close to all that Mission & Pacific Beach have to offer, walk everywhere! Half way between Garnet Ave & Belmont park. The unit features two private bedrooms with one queen bed and one full size bed. There are also air mattresses available for your use. The space can accommodate 4-6 people depending on sleeping arrangements. The outdoor space is shared. Guests are welcome to use the patio & hot tub, but other neighbors may be using it as well from time to time.

*** PLEASE NOTE: *** The garbage trucks come by early Tuesday & Saturday morning & they are very loud. Confirm parking ahead of time if you plan on having a car. The unit comes with 1-2 spots, but they are tight beach parking spots, large vehicles are not recommended and probably won't fit. *** Do not leave any valuables unattended on the property or in your car. Mission Beach also has the nickname "Missing" Beach for a reason. *** This property is located on Mission Blvd which is a 2 lane, relatively high traffic, main street that goes through the area. Expect some traffic and pedestrian noise at all hours of the night. Also make sure you mind all street sweeping notices on Mission Blvd. ***

Needs some work

Great location! Clean! Couch was in terrible shape, lumpy and coming apart at seams. Towel rack needs to be replaced in lower bathroom. VERY basic kitchen... a few more glasses would help. No way to stop up sink for dishwashing... the plug provided did not help. Smoke detectors not working.

Good place for the price point

Owner was very responsive to questions and was available if anything was needed. The living room and kitchen area were very open and bright. It was a short stroll to the beach which was awesome and the location was great relative to what San Diego has to offer - close to all the freeways/downtown/old town. The off street parking spot was a little difficult to fit into at first but what a bonus especially because on street parking in that area is hard to come by. Downside - bedrooms are downstairs/street level. One faces the main street so it can get pretty loud at night (especially on weekend nights with walking bar traffic). Could use a few updates to furniture but for the price and location, it worked out great!

Excellent location, very close to both the beach and the bay.

We loved the location. So close to everything, less than a block to both the beach and the bay! Lots to do within walking distance or a bike ride away. While it was on a busy road, the noise level was not an issue at night if we had the windows closed. Loved having the hot tub and bicycles for use. It is also close to many major attractions. A couple of suggestion would be to better stock the kitchen for washing dishes, such as a dish drainer, or more dish towels and to fix the bedroom blind. Overall it was a great stay, and Lawrence was wonderful. We very much appreciate him being very helpful and responsive to whatever was needed. Thanks Lawrence!
