The perfect overnight stay

  • 5 of 5

This place was absolutely gorgeous and attention to detail was spot on :) We even received a bottle of wine, some olives and some chocolates upon arrival. We only stayed for one night but it was perfect. The location is great! Beds are comfortable and everything is there for you.

Perfect for a girls weekend

  • 5 of 5

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. It was clean, beds were comfortable and warm, great deck for a wine to watch the sunset over the ocean, coffee machine with pods supplied. A short stroll to the beach. Everything went smoothly and all we needed to bring was food. Welcome wine and olives was appreciated. Thanks!

beautiful and comfortable house

  • 5 of 5

We stayed a night at BeachHouse at Maslins in September and really loved the place. The house is spacious and airy, the rooms and beds are comfortable. My kids were delighted to discover toys in the cupboard of the room with bunkbeds. The kitchen is also well equipped and we managed to whip up dinner that night. The garden is well maintained and there's a friendly bushytailed black cat that struts around the property like it owns it. If you have kids, you can take them to the playground down the road near the beach. Amenities wise, this house is very near the main road of Maclaren Vale where you can find all the food you need.

The downside is that the weather was surprisingly cold when we were there (below 10 deg C at night) and the one heating unit wasn't strong enough to warm up the entire house. The roof seems to have air vents that let the cold air in all the time. Note too that there are stairs to climb. My hubby had a good workout carrying 8 people's luggage up and down the stairs.

All in all a beautifully modern, cheery and clean home.

Owner's Response: Rhoda, we are so glad that you enjoyed your stay at The Beach House at Maslins. We were surprised that you had moved the heater from one of the bedrooms to the lounge room when there is a reverse cycle air conditioning unit that heats the lounge room very well. Also, there is a reverse cycle air conditioner in the main bedroom and a heater and fan in the other two bedrooms, so the whole house can be toasty warm in colder weather and cooled in summer. I am sorry that you didn't realise that we had these facilities, but they are listed in our welcome folder. The weekend that you stayed was very windy but the roof is completely sealed. We hope to welcome you back another time.
