Comfortable stay

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for a wedding that was at nearby Tocal Homestead. It was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean. Could comfortably sleep 8 people. The bathrooms have been recently renovated which was great. The fridge could do with a wipe down/clean.

There was a green tree frog that occasionally came up in one of the toilets (must be living in the septic tank) we tried to rescue him but he would just swim back up the s-bend. So we just took to flushing before using but this was only a small inconvenience.

Despite visits from a beautiful green tree frog we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us!

Country Escape!

  • 4 of 5

We stayed with another family including 4 kids all up and this place was lovely. The kids really enjoyed the open space and the animals, the adults loved the homely feel, fireplace and comfy beds! Well located to some great sites in the area. Would recommend as a great escape from the hustle bustle.

Cosy homestead in picturesque location

  • 5 of 5

We booked Kyeema Park over the Easter long weekend and had a lovely, relaxing stay. The views are beautiful and the house has everything you need and is very comfy. The kids loved feeding the old mare and enjoyed an Easter egg hunt in the garden.

We will definitely be back again. Thank you Robert for everything and especially for the Easter eggs!

Nice family home

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here as we were attending a wedding in the area. Really nice and remote location, and the house had a real family kind of feel to it. Felt really comfortable staying here and the lack of Internet/phone reception added to the atmosphere of being in a completely remote location. Yes there there was a frog in house, but from what we heard from other family members who were also staying in the area, they all had frogs in their accommodation as well, so is a pretty common thing. Thinking of coming back for a stay in winter to take advantage of the wood fired slow combustion heater.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments you obviously appreciated that it is a farm stay and comes with the current heartbreaking conditions of drought and what that brings for people on the land ...dry dusty windy heatwave conditions ....and the occasional beautiful green frogs. You and your family and welcome back anytime robert

Nice location but un-kept,dated and too many frogs

  • 2 of 5

The location of the house is stunning. The house is comfortable but very basic and dated (a bit neglected in some areas with broken tiles). The bedding was fresh but the house itself was not particularly clean -dead insects, cobwebs, carpet stains etc. Animal vaccines in the fridge next to food was a turn-off and they should have been kept elsewhere. Frogs in the bathrooms and bed rooms and hopping around in the middle of the night next to the bed was not what we were expecting and should have been included in the description of the property prior to booking. Overall quite disappointing. This was a special weekend for my parents birthday who were visiting from the UK- not quite the relaxing experience we were looking for!
