About Carol roff
I was born in Singapore where my dad was serving in the Royal Navy, after that we moved back to Portsmouth for a short time before moving to Stratford upon Avon. I spent most of my school years in Stratford upon Avon and the last few years at Blairgowrie in Scotland before leaving home to join the Women's Royal Air Force. I was posted to RAF Leuchars which is near St Andrews in Scotland. I traveled around quite a bit and became interested in Scottish history visiting the cave where Robert the Bruce hid from the English, the battle site at Bannockburn, William Wallace's monument and Stirling Castle.
Why Carol roff chose East Toowoomba
When we bought the property here on the Caledonia Estate we decided to call in Bannockburn in keeping with the battle which freed Scotland once and for all from the English.
What makes this House unique
The property is on the outskirts of the CBD which is approx 900 metres away. Margaret street is "Eat Street" with a range of cafes and restaurants to suit everyone. There are pubs near by too. You can walk across the road to Queen's Park, the Cobb & Co museum and markets. Just around the corner there are 2 cafes which serve all day breakfasts and open for evening meals.

Great place to stay. Excellent facilities and location.
Lovely stay in Toowoomba
Great overnight stay, wish we had longer. House was a home away from home, and had everything you could think of. Will definitely return.
Thank you Jo, shame is was a bit chilly. The gardens look a lot better in Spring during September. Hope you see you again.
A Delightful Cottage
Had a great overnight stay in the cottage and wished we could have stayed another night. The cottage is delightful with everything that you need. Our dog Harry really enjoyed the gas open fire and the walk in the park opposite the cottage. It is an excellent location with a beautiful park opposite and the shops within walking distance.
We will definitely stay there again when we next visit Toowoomba.
Thank you Kristine so pleased that Harry enjoyed his stay too!
