About the property

Welcome home to tranquility. Rural living with city conveniences. Fantastic home just a short distance out of the centre of Bowral, offering a luscious green tree garden that shields the outside world for your own special stay. Come leave work behind. Gather together as family again under the one large roof, and enjoy that wedding or other special occasion. The ceiling is very high, leaving the home very airy and spacious.

We are situated on Norton Lane, which is prestigious, running along a small ridgeline with some slightly commanding distant views. Five bedrooms.

Check-in time: 4pm. Early check-in might be an option. Ask.

Check-out time: 11am. Late check-out might be an option. Ask.

Laundry: There is a third toilet here, so nobody is left caught short if you are a larger group or have friends over. A big 16Kg washing machine makes it easy to clean your clothes while on-site, something you just don't get in a hotel!

Large double car garage with a very tall ceiling. Spacious. Automatic garage doors.

Four person outdoor spa with private garden views. Relax with warm jets of water, as you sip drinks and chat. A great way to unwind from the day, get talking together, and is a highlight of the property.

Well appointed kitchen has everything you need. Microwave, Dishwasher, Pressure cooker, Sandwich press, large Ilve fan forced oven and gas cooktop. Many pans and utensils. Get cooking. Save, and eat together as a family or group of friends, in quiet peace.

Large dining table easily seats eight +

Wii game console with many games, mostly kids or fitness.

42" LCD TV with Blu-Ray player, PVR and smart TV functions, internet and pause live TV.

This is the home many rebook. It's loved and cared for, is very clean, and has everything you need.

Includes power points through the home with USB power sockets for example - no need for your wall charger. Multiple iPhone 6 charging docks are also here waiting for you, and Android power cables

This home is in high demand. Note it can also be occasionally let as a share accommodation - with one or sometimes two private rooms let while the owner also stays. This is a less expensive option, and more social - if you don't need the whole house, or it's just a couple, or with up to two children - but this Stayz listing is for 'Whole house'. Bedding configuration

To best cater for you, please advise us beforehand, the nature of your group, such as number of couples, singles and children. This allows bedding to be set to match your party. The home can actually cater up to 12 guests if needed.


Master bedroom: Comfy queen bed, has air-conditioning and chandeliers. There's a sizable en-suite bathroom with separate shower, large claw foot bath that fits a cozy couple, a walk-in robe and separate toilet. Can have a double inner-sprung mattress on floor of this oversized master bedroom, for children, or an extra couple.

Front bedroom: Queen bed. Sunny morning views of the garden.


Side bedroom: 2x Single beds in a unique style with designer screw effect. Turned wood styled with spanners and nuts and screws - with a large wooden working nut that actually rotates on the end of the bed. This isn't an ordinary wood turned bed. Foam mattress under one of the beds for overflow guests or perhaps small children sleeping in mum and dad's room.

Single sofa bed with inner sprung mattress. A separate king-single foam mattress can also be set up here for kids slumber parties, or while watching a movie.

Guest bathroom has a claw foot bath and separate shower and toilet.

Cot: There is no cot at the premises, so you need to BYO, or have baby sleep with you. There is no extra per night charge for a baby, so only count guests who need a bed when booking. Plenty of room to put a cot in any of the bedrooms or elsewhere if need be.

Got a good portable cot or high chair almost don’t need it anymore? Feel free to leave it here if you want, & I’ll advertise it then as available for future families. Reduce, re-use, recycle! Nice to think your lovely cot will continue to be appreciated by others over time

House rules

No smoking, and strictly no parties at all (without prior written agreement)

No noise or activity outside after 10pm.

No additional visitors on-site after 11pm.

Maximum 3x cars parked on property front. There's also a 2x car garage.

Absolutely no street parking in Norton lane. Neighbours WILL complain.

This is a residential area filled with families and retirees. Our home is suitable for couples, families and small corporate retreats, we often host professionals looking for a quiet getaway from the city, or mature folk attending weddings nearby, who agree not to bring the party back home!

Only plastic cups if using outdoor spa (provided)

Clean up after yourselves, especially kitchen.

You agree as a strict condition of the booking, you will lose your security deposit for breach of the house rules relating to noise complaints, outside guests after 11pm, or parking violations. This may be from our caretaker, or neighbour reports.

Please don't give our neighbours cause for complaint, as this threatens our lovely bnb that's been enjoyed by numerous visitors seeking the tranquility of the Highlands. Thank you for being respectful and quiet here!
