Overview

About the property

The property is tucked away in a private and peaceful area of Ferguson Valley. A spacious two storey home situated on 10 acres, enjoys an absolutely stunning position adjacent to Crooked Brook Forest and working farms. The friendly resident kangaroos and other Australian wildlife are regularly seen grazing and drinking from the property's dam. With both Crooked Brook and Joshua Creek running through the property it offers magnificent rural views from every room making it a perfect holiday home.

One or two families can easily be accommodated comfortably in the four bedroom, three bathroom home. There are two separate living areas - one down and one up. The upstairs living area includes TV, video game console, music centre, and fusball table. The open plan kitchen, dining and living areas of the house are well suited to easy family life. An outdoor setting allows guests to make the most of this idyllic rural setting.

We highly recommend this charming house at any time of year. This is a wonderful location for families wishing to experience the Valley's ambiance and hospitality.

Ferguson Valley

Ferguson Valley is situated just two hours south of Perth. The home of “Gnomesville” offers a fantastic getaway amongst spectacular rolling hills, lush green pastures and natural Australian bushland. But the delights of Valley don't stop with the view:

• Taste award winning wines in one of Australia’s best new wine regions.

• Take in the relaxed scenery while enjoying some of the region’s finest foods.

• Visit galleries of local artists.

• Enjoy a picnic and walk through National Forests and Wellington Dam.

• Close to the Bibbulmun (walking) and Munda Bindi (cycling) tracks

For guests wishing to explore further, Bunbury and Busselton are a 30 minute drive and the Margaret River region is 90 minutes making it an ideal day trip.

Magic spot

  • 5 of 5

This is the loveliest spot. About a 20 minute drive from some wonderful food, wine, beer and galleries. The accommodation is lovely and feels quite luxurious for what we thought was a very reasonable price. Lots of birds flitting about, cows in the field and evidence of kangaroos though we didn't see any. The best equipped kitchen I've seen too. My only minor quibble was a stained towel in one bathroom and the towels were a wee bit damp. We even got to make use of the outdoor seating when the sun came out... definitely somewhere to go back to.

Idealic setting

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved our stay. We came with 2 families. Loads of space, a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher!!

The property is very modern and clean and the addition of all those kids toys were such a bonus.

The property is amazing with great places to explore, climb trees etc and we also enjoyed bushwalking at the crooked brook forest only 5 mins drive away. A great winter weekend getaway will definitely come back and recommend to anyone.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 4 days with 2 families. The house was well equipt with everything you could ever need or want in a holiday house plus much more! The 2 living areas and layout of the bedrooms meant everyone was able to spend time together but not live on top of each other. While we couldn't get mobile phone reception on the property we were able to get reception 2 minutes drive up the road on top of the hill if needed. Highly recommend this property
