This is a lovely place to stay

  • 5 of 5

White Lodge has lots of character- some old world charm and some modern cool. It was comfortable, private and quiet. A pleasant stroll down a relaxed seaside street to the beach and the Frankston shops, cafes and restaurants. The owners, while discreet, responded quickly to our communications and were obviously committed to making our stay as pleasant as possible.

Beautiful house, great location and the owners at such short notice went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Thank you so much for letting us use your beautiful home Robynne and Nic and for putting Foxtel sports on for us.

  • 5 of 5

we stayed 4 nights in this wonderful house. impeccably clean, well equipped (kitchen with all the machines and sharp knives!), stylish, even a bit luxurious and very comfortable. fantastic swimming beach within reach of bare feet and many touring opportunities in the neighbourhood. communication with hosts was fluent & flexible, we will definately return.

Owner's Response: Sini and Anniti....(spelling???) thank you for your wonderful review, you are obviously keen foodies, and so are we. Your comments in our visitors book mentioned our herb garden /sharp knives etc and it's great to know that people appreciate these kitchen/cooking facilities. Also hosting you all the way from from Finland was exciting for us and we are delighted you "stylish" people found our beach house so comfortable. We enjoyed some communication, and you are welcome back any time. Cheers Robynne and Nic

Simply superb

  • 5 of 5

As a family of 5 we stayed at the white lodge this January for 3 weeks, whilst visiting relatives up the Melbourne coast. All I can say is Nic and Robynne have thought of everything, what a truly superb property and what lovely people. I have been lucky enough to stay in some great UK self catering properties and the White Lodge could hold its own with any of them, in addition you have less than a minutes walk to a fantastic beach. I could go on, but in the end the best advocacy I can give is that that my five year old son hid under a table crying when it came time for us to leave, saying that he wanted to stay and live in the "white house".

Owner's Response: Wow, Thankyou so much Steve it's this that makes us love what we are doing with our house. And so great to know it is appreciated so much, you and your family were also a delight, sounds weird, but we really loved having you there, wondering what you were doing each day etc..... All the very best Robynne and Nic.

Whitlodge on Long Island

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The place has a vintage charm; it is warm and cosy, and comfortable to accommodate our family of 8. Our son and his wife came to join us on the last night before we leave to return to Singapore the following day and the host kindly provided an extra mattress and doona for us. We had a memorable time together as a family.

Beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

The house was everything that we were looking for. we had elderly parents with us and all was beautifully set up. It was cold and the heating was wonderful. We would be very happy to stay at this place again....and again. it was close to our daughter so made for easy visiting too.
