About the property

Tea Trees is a 2 storey beach house with direct beach frontage to a wide sandy swimming beach. The house makes full use of its situation and features a large deck with BBQ area and outdoor table with seating for 8 people. There are also deck chairs under a large umbrella for relaxing and just sipping something cool and watching the boats sail past. When you are enjoying the deck you can hear the waves lapping on the beach below and sometimes hear the sound of the surf from the ocean beach too.

The lake is beautiful to look at any time of the day or season but is especially romantic at twilight. There are no other houses to obscure your view.

The house is in a very quiet, restful and peaceful setting .You may catch the occasional glimpse of dolphins playing in the waves below, or rare Sea Eagles flying overhead .

Tea Trees is suitable for a medium family or two couples plus children as it has 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed and 1 with two singles. There is a separate couch in the bedroom downstairs and a sofa bed in the sitting room upstairs. The house has two separate bathrooms and two toilets. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining table seats six adults.

TeaTrees has direct beach access with no roads to cross.

There is a minimum stay of 3 nights but 5 nights during the Christmas holidays and 4 nights at Easter.

The are two bedrooms upstairs; the master has a queen bed plus built in robe, the 2nd bedroom has two singles plus chest of drawers for storage.

The master bedroom has views over Lake Victoria via a large glass sliding door that provides access to the deck. I love lying in bed and watching the swans bobbing on the lake and the parrots nesting in the tea trees. The aspect is just gorgeous

The lounge and dining area is open plan with large glass sliding doors opening to the deck to maximise the view. A large widescreen TV, DVD player, Ipod, CD player, music, DVDs and lots of board games provide entertainment. The sofa converts into a comfortable double bed.

The self contained kitchen is very well equipped but has no dishwasher yet!

The separate bathroom has been fully modernised and has a shower, vanity and toilet.

The lounge has a reverse cycle air-conditioner for chilly nights.

Downstairs and General Requirements

The bedroom downstairs has a double bed and a fold out double sofa. It also has a chest of drawers for storage and its large picture window ensures plenty of natural light and a view over the lake.

The separate bathroom containing a shower and vanity also has a washing machine and separate toilet.

Downstairs exits to an undercover carport.

The large front garden has lots of shady seating areas to enjoy the peaceful environment and plenty of off street parking and room for your boat if you like.

Doonas/covers are all provided. Guests are requested to supply linen,(sheets and pillow cases) towels and tea towels.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.

Pets very welcome by arrangement but please note the property is not fenced. The deck has gates across the stairs for added safety.

Please supply all your pets bedding as they can be quite particular and I request they are kept off the chairs and beds.

Dogs bowls and old towels are supplied if required.

Owners are required to keep pets under control and clean up after them.


The house is for a maximum of two couples plus children

There is a minimum of 3 nights stay, but 4 nights minimum during the holiday season.

For your added security we request you do not make payments into overseas bank accounts. The property is fully managed in Australia. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the owner.

Wonderful holiday house!

Our family of four and a visiting exchange student had a fantastic long weekend at TeaTrees. Well appointed house with a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. Our German guest was delighted by the abundant bird life.

Great family house & brilliant view of the lake.

Fantastic 10 day stay at Tea Trees.

The Host was great, very friendly and prompt communications.

The house is really lovely, clean, bright, roomy and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

The deck is a fantastic place to eat and relax taking in the brilliant view of Lake Victoria. It is a nice short walk to the Lake beach which we mostly had to ourselves.

The photos don't do the house, garden and views justice. We loved it.
