"Shanti by the Sea" is a self-contained holiday beach house located approximately 55 minutes from Adelaide on the magnificent Fleurieu Peninsula coast only minutes from the McLaren Vale Wine Region, Aldinga and Moana drive-on beaches, and the pristine beach of Port Willunga.
Beach Access is only a 10 minute walk to the main Port Willunga carpark where the Star of Greece is located or there are alternative access points via stairs to the Aldinga reef.

The property features a large covered front balcony area for intimate drinks, evening sunset dining and relaxing breakfasts while enjoying the panoramic views and fresh air, it has all the comforts of home.
The main open plan living area has reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans with wall mounted TV/DVD and CD player. The property has been newly and extensively renovated, maintaining a bright seaside decor to the interior. The landscaped rear garden provides a haven for outdoor activities with a large pergola area for barbeques and outdoor dining.

Beds will have mattress protectors, doonas with cover, pillows with pillow cases, and top and bottom sheets. Spare blankets are also provided for colder nights. (If guests choose or have made prior arrangements to use their own linen, bedding MUST still be fitted with mattress protectors, top AND bottom sheets, covers for the doona and pillow cases for the pillows). Linen supplied also includes bath towels, hand towels, bath mats and tea towels. Guests will need to provide their own beach towels - bath towels are not to be used on the beach.
Sorry but our property has a STRICTLY NO PARTY POLICY and is not available for any functions of any kind, including wedding events such as bucks and hens nights. Our neighbours are permanent residents and any excessive noise will result in eviction from the premises.
Guests can use the waste and recycle bins provided to dispose of their waste on vacating but are required to follow certain house rules. No rubbish or recyclable items are to be left inside the accommodation and bins must be placed for roadside collection per instructions provided to guest.
Quiet, well-behaved pet dogs (2 max) are permitted at a cost of $40 per stay but are not allowed on furniture or bedding. You must confirm your pet prior to your stay. Sorry no cats allowed.
SECURITY BOND & CLEANING FEE:
A fully refundable security Bond of $500 is required with each booking and the cleaning fee included in your costs is mandatory.
RATES & MINIMUM STAYS:
Rates vary from season to season. Minimum stays are generally two (2) nights with the following exceptions
Long weekends minimum three (3) nights
Easter minimum four (4) nights
December & January bookings minimum five (5) nights (some exceptions made in December prior to the Christmas season).
All booking days and times will be considered depending on availability and season times.
All bookings will be subject to a Security Bond and mandatory Cleaning fee.
Linen is included in the HomeAway/Stayz rates.
Bookings require 50% deposit and balance to be paid four weeks prior to your stay.
A cancellation fee of the full 50% deposit will be forfeited.

Very clean and tidy. Lovely view.
Catherine was very good at answering queries. Our friends from Scotland loved the view and dinner at the Star of Greece was lovely and being able to walk there was excellent.
The one issue was that there was no hand towel in the upstairs bathroom.
We are pleased you and your visitors enjoyed your stay, the view is extra special watching the sunsets change as the seasons change,. The front balcony has rated the highest points since it was built. Thank you so much for taking the time to review us, we appreciate your positive feedback.

Shanti is in a great location , we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner on the balcony overlooking the sea . The house is comfortable with everything we need , it has beautiful beach within walking distance and many nice ones not too far away and McLaren Vale is just 10mn away for our day tour of wine tasting .
We always feel excited when others enjoy the deck out front. It was only Built in October 2015 just when the sunset started to move more west. As the cooler months arrive the sun will be setting in front...it is spectacular. Join us again we reward return guests with specials and inclusions. Cathie & Daryl
Perfect getaway by the ocean
Just a beautiful place to escape with everything thought of. Clean, fresh, beautiful views. The family loved it. Wonderful to be able to bring the dog too. Thank you for a perfect stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. The property has sea views and is well appointed. The balcony is great for relaxing and the magnificent Port Willunga beach is only a brief walk. We're likely to return!
