We purchased our first studio condo at the base of Mt. Snow in 2001 to enjoy family vacations, hiking and skiing. In 2005 our daughter attended college nearby and worked at the mountain. We decided it was time to upgrade to a larger 1 bedroom condo for increased space.
We realized how much we enjoyed spending time in the Mt. Snow area and decided to purchase a home where we could all spend time together and have room to enjoy.
Our home is in a great four season resort. There's hiking, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, tennis, swimming, and so much more! There's something for everyone, every season!
Our home is warm and inviting and meticulously kept. Start your day with a cup of coffee relaxing in the sun room. End your day grilling on the large deck or lounging in hammock with a good book. You'll be surrounded by the quiet and serene forest. Whatever your pleasure, enjoy it from our Vermont country home!
Hi Kate-- Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed staying at your place in Vermont! It was comfortable, cozy and we enjoyed it so much. We definitely will keep you in mind for another family get together. It's a nice half way drive for us to meet our son. The mud wasn't so bad. We came home to tons of mud in Old Forge and a lake in our back yard!! It was a brutal winter and it's going to be a long messy mud season!
Thank you again.
Our stay was wonderful! We had an incredible time staying at your home and skiing. Everything about the house exceeded expectations. Fortunately the driveway was all plowed when we got there since there was a lot of snow fall during our trip. With all the snowing going on outside it was nice and cozy by the fireplace while we cooked dinner and played games. We all very much enjoyed our stay.
This had nothing to do with the housr, but wanted to mention the help from the community. The second night we were there a snow storm was just finishing up when we left Stratton Mountain (normally about 40 minutes away). This made for a pretty awful ride home, especially when we got to Chimney Top and our SUV got stuck spinning out on an ice covered hill and couldn't move. Fortunately a plow from the community came by and saw us. They laid sand down and plowed around us to help us get out of our situation and led us down another path back to the house. We could not have gotten out of there without them. They were so helpful and kind.
Anyways, the stay was great. My group of friends and myself hope we can get back up there some day and stay again.
Kate's place is clean, comfortable and spacious. The place suited our family gathering well, and we enjoyed the nearby towns and visited Mt Snow, about 20 min away, to asses our interest in skiing there during ski season. Looks like a lot of skiable terrain and nice layout.
The place had everything we needed, and Kate called to make sure we were all settled and having a good time.

I stayed in this beautiful home for several weeks. It was comfortable, and suited my every possible need, as well as being beautifully situated and beautifully decorated. The owner was very quick yo reply for any question or small problem. The kitchen was well stocked with just about any pot or utensil one might need. It was so nice to have a recliner in front of the fireplace and a TV in the bedroom. The surroundings were beautiful and wonderfully quiet. The bed was very comfortable and even had a selection of pillows that would suit anyone. The house was sparkling clean. Honestly, I hated to leave. I definitely will book this lovely home again. I would give it ten stars if I could!
Our family absolutely loved this home for our New Years stay. The perfect combination of cozy spaciousness. This home is the perfect layout and the furniture and accommodations were all top notch. We loved the entire neighborhood. The owner was professional and friendly, making sure our vacation was a VACATION. She even took the time to mail us an item we left behind. HIGHLY recommend and look forward to staying again. Just a great experience. Thank YOU!!!!
Went to this home for a weekend of skiing at mount snow. Perfect distance from the mountain. We weren't sure what to expect but the house was more than what we could ask for. House had everything we needed from cooking supplies to board games to firewood. The owner, Kate, was more than helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Would recommend this house to anyone and will definitely rent from this house again.
We spent the Presidents Day weekend here and had great time. We were two families with three young children (7, 3, and 0yr old), and the stay couldn't have been more comfortable. We skied in Mt. Snow one day, but the other days were way too cold to go to the mountain, so instead, we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, hot tub, billiard, and ping pong at the clubhouse. It was perfect for a -15 degree weather day. The ping pong table in the basement of the house was also a hit with a 7 years old. Kitchen was clean and well stocked with knives, pots and pans, and simple dishes, making eating-in easy and enjoyable, too. The owner Kate was very responsive and helpful - even promptly shipping a cellphone charger I left back to me! Thank you very much for our wonderful stay.
