92A is a refurbishment of the original 1950's house. We were lucky (unusually for its time) to find it had very large wooden picture windows along all the river-facing windows in the living room and two front bedrooms.

We've tried to maintain all the beautiful parts of the era including the curved ends of the hallway and fireplace, the hardwood kitchen cabinets wardrobes and the bakelite door handles, (like the old bakelite telephones of that time).

The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has a queen, and a single bed. It also has a tv/dvd, (in case adults have taken over the living room).

On the south side of the apartment are a bathroom, separate toilet, another small bedroom with single bed, hall and kitchen. The kitchen has a second dining table, gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave and front-loader washing machine. The bathroom includes a bath as well as shower. Pantry includes various drygoods such as cereal, tea, coffee, flour, sugar.

The bathroom has a bath, shower vanity. Next door are toilet and a second vanity. ONE toilet in total. ONE shower in total. But across two rooms.

Parking is just outside on our side of the street for this apartment - just normal residential parking with no restrictions - the steps down are well lit at night. Amenities such as Foxtel, WIFI, large DVD library, /mini laptop/laser printer, washing machine, complimentary local calls, childrens' cupboard are common to both apartments.

You are very welcome to scavenge from the garden. The bottom garden with chooks and rabbits is a communal area. There are now six rabbits (mostly rescued from the RSPCA) in a 8x8m enclosure. You can walk into, sit and feed them. You'll have to wind your way down the bottom of the garden that faces the river to find this. The chooks do lay eggs. However, they roam the entire garden, so their nests can be very difficult to find. You are certainly welcome to any eggs you can find.

Barbeque area is available.

No other pets, no parties or smoking on the premises, please.

In the kitchen is a complimentary well stocked pantry which includes 4-types of cereal+ tea, coffee, herbal teas, flour, rice, etc. All linens plus shampoo, conditioner, shower gel are also provided, including down/feather doonas and electric blankets in winter.

We maintain a book with lots of suggestions for things to do, maps and brochures for you to take away.

4 minutes to Launceston CBD (2.9km)

1 minute Trevallyn Grocer (specialty deli/cafe/supermarket) plus bakery/newsagent/pharmacy (1km)

2 minutes to Woolworths shopping centre (1.8km)

2 minutes to Tailrace Park (huge children's play area, with wooden maze and ducks you can feed). It is directly below us on the river and can be seen from the apartments.

300m to Keros takeaway fish shop and West Tamar Highway, (which starts you on the West Tamar wine route)

Slip back on the highway from Forest Road and you are at the beginning of the Tamar Valley Wine Route

3 mins to The Cataract Gorge, Stillwater Restaurant/Cafe and The Mill Providore

Excellent accommodation!

We stayed in 92A with it's sensational views of the Tamar River. This apartment was so well appointed you want for nothing, every detail has been considered. Thank you Jo, for a wonderful stay, we will be back.

Can't wait to come back!

Very comfortable and cosy accommodation, convenient location so close to the city and easy to access main roads for day trips!

We stayed in Launceston and explored as far as cradle mountain and Hobart. At the end of the day it was so nice coming home to such a lovely apartment. The heater made the lounge room so cosy to sit and enjoy the wonderful view of the river and the quilt on the bed kept us warm through the night.

When we first arrived there were lights and heater on in the apartment and some milk in the fridge so we could sit down and enjoy a hot drink! Jo is so generous with the way the apartment is stocked and prepared for your stay.

We are already planning our next visit, this time with the kids. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Amazing place with amazing views across the river

Can not recommend this place enough. Fantastic location, close to (2 minute drive) to fabulous little shopping centre containing bakery, grocery, bottle shop and post office.

We stayed with our two children (8 and 6) and all were catered for, with a large selection of DVD's, books, toys and of course the Bunnies located in the garden. Our girls could not get enough of seeing the bunnies on dawn and dusk and were sad to leave.

Jo was the most amazing host with the place also stocked with essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, breakfast cereals, washing detergent and powder, and the muffin suggestion with the ingredients supplied were fantastic

Short drive to UTAS to watch football and even shorter drive to City CBD and local sites, or just to sit and enjoy the endlest views across the horizon. We loved this place and would book again.

Excellent

We had a short stay at Forest Rd 92A on the weekend and it was excellent. Lots of beautiful make you feel at home touches and kindness by the owner. The facilities overall were excellent, beds comfo, just wonderful. beds comfortable, hot shower, amazin view and then the little ig things, toys for the kids, making muffins, craft cupboard, bunnies in the garden provided hours of entertainment, easter egg hunt. Jo was delightful. Highly recommend and will definitely book again as regular visitors to Launceston. Thanks so much

Fantastic Stay

What a great stay! Five of us stayed here and really enjoyed it the views are fabulous and it was really well equipped. We loved the fresh herbs and the small details like brekkie cereals etc. Only request would be for a top sheet on beds.

Best place for holiday accomodation

We had our best holiday at Jo's apartment. Jo was so accomodating and very friendly. The place was clean, spacious and amazing views. Whole cabinet of toys and bunnies at garden were also a big hit with our toddler. Strategic location near to Cataract Gorge, Royal Penny and City Launceston. Big supermarket within 1km away. Definitely will stay here again on our next visit.
