The owners use this property for their own family and friends and, as such, it is designed for maximum comfort and convenience. Details include: 2 main queensize bedrooms, one triple bedroom and one triple with a double lower bunk. Doonas and pillows are provided – BYO linen.
The games room which has billiards, table tennis, air-hockey and a second tv and ipod/stereo system offers a great extra living space and faces out to a BBQ and entertaining area.
Mod cons in the main house inc. a stylish open-living area with tv, dvd, reverse cycle air conditioning and sound system.
The kitchen is set-up for easy catering for 10 with lots of extra touches (eg. coffee brewer, slow cooker, modern fridge/pantry/dishwasher etc.) Just bring the food.
The laundry has a large washing-machine and dryer and the second bathroom (outside) is great for a rinse after the beach.
There is a quiet beach and small boat-ramp at the end of the street and when the fisherman get home there is an outdoor fish-cleaning sink so they can bring the fish inside already filleted (!)
Portarlington shops and the main foreshore are under 10 mins walk away and there are great family-friendly cafes and bakeries available.
For a surf just head down to Point Lonsdale or Ocean Grove (25mins) or to Queenscliffe for a trip on the Ferry.
The local beaches are “off-lead” for dogs all year around and we are happy for you to bring your furry friends so long as they are kept outside and do not cause any damage to the property.
