Bedroom 1

A spacious bedroom with views over the lake. The king bed is freshly made with linen and can be configured as two extra long singles if twin share is preferred. All towels are provided for the ensuite which offers a double shower, double basin and toilet. A day bed is also located in Bedroom 1 and there is plenty of space for the portacot. Reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating, fan and built-in wardrobes are provided.

Bedroom 2

Enjoy views overlooking the lake. The king bed is freshly made with linen and can be configured as two extra long singles if twin share is preferred. There is ample space for a portacot. All towels are provided for the adjoining bathroom which includes a sumptuous bath and shower. There is an adjoining toilet room and a separate adjoining handbasin. These bathrooms can be used by other guests in the house or can be locked for use by Bedroom 2 guests exclusively. Reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating, fan and built-in wardrobes are provided.

Bedroom 3

Has some views of the Adelaide Hills and enjoys sunsets and lake breezes. This bedroom has a double bed and single day bed freshly prepared with linen, towels in the ensuite, reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating, a fan and built-in wardrobes with ample space for a portacot. The ensuite is very well appointed with a vanity, toilet and shower.

Bedroom 4

Has some views of the Adelaide Hills and enjoys sunsets and lake breezes. This bedroom has a double bed and single day bed freshly prepared with linen and towels. Reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating, a fan and built-in wardrobes with ample space for a portacot. Guests of Bedroom 4 will need to use the bathroom facilities of another bedroom.

A complimentary portacot with linen, baby towel and highchair are provided.

Lounge - Dining

The spacious lounge and dining area is the hub of the home. Enjoy sunrises over the lake and sunsets over the Adelaide Hills. Relax with a book or magazines on the lounges, snuggle in front of the wood fire, play board games with the kids or enjoy the HD TV, sound system, CD-radio, DVD and Blue Ray. The lounge and dining area has reverse cycle air-conditioning / heating, a combustion wood fire place, fans and can be opened up to welcome the lake breezes in summer.

Kitchen

The gorgeous kitchen is fully equipped with a modern cooker with oven, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge (with ice dispenser and freezer), coffee pod machine (please bring coffee pods for a Lavazza Minu machine) toaster, kettle and all the creature comforts of home. A small supply of tea and coffee is provided for each stay (please bring your own milk).

Back deck

With glimpses overlooking the Adelaide Hills and a large outdoor area. A gas barbeque is located close to the wine barrel. Outdoor seats and a two person outdoor spa enable you to enjoy the sunsets over the hills.

Front deck

Overlooking the lake, there is outdoor seating for twelve for you to enjoy the views and watch the children play on the grass whilst you sip your wine from local wineries. The Vintage Oar has close-down shading to provide protection in winter and shade in summer — making the front deck extremely private if required.

Gardens

The gardens are all fully fenced so it's nice and safe for children to play. There is plenty of undercover space for cars, boats, waterskis, caravans, motorbikes and other fun things! Drive through back to front and vice versa for easy boat towing etc.

The Vintage Oar is only a 1 hour drive from Adelaide, 15 minutes drive to Goolwa, 10 minutes to Strathalbyn, 15 minutes to Currency Creek, 5 minutes to Finniss and 10 minutes to the wineries of Langhorne Creek. There is a boat ramp close by on the lakefront of Lake Alexandrina. There are walking trails, parks for the kids, tennis courts, bakery, pub and local shops. Visit local wineries including Lake Breeze, Bremerton, Cleggett and The Winehouse, art galleries, restaurants, and the myriad of other attractions of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
