River View was a wee delight

  • 4 of 5

Great rustic place. Twas cold, but thats the Clare Valley in Winter which made it memorable. There was not washing machine powder/liquid and the igniter was broken. Windows are broken and stuffed with glad wrap. Lovely otherwise.

Owner's Response: Hello Amy, Thank you so much for staying and your feedback. We are so sorry you did not see the box of washing powder on the shoe rack next to the washing machine, and the igniter worked perfectly for us, murphys law. We do apolioise for the glad wrap in the old mesh on the windows to stop the bugs, i usually take it out and we are waiting for the specialized repair man given the age of the window. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Cheers Tina

Cute cottage

  • 3 of 5

A quaint cottage in the back streets of Auburn. Very generous breakfast supplies as well as enough wood to keep us warm in the cold evenings (though the house was very cold when we first arrived).

Perfect for our needs

  • 4 of 5

We were attending a 50th birthday party in the region and this B& B provided the best location, plenty of food for breakfast and a nice bottle of wine to greet us. We had "fun" starting the fires in the lounge and kitchen (typical city slickers) more smoke than flame....Would like to stay longer next time. Thanks Tina

Excellent property and hosts

  • 5 of 5

Cottage is in a great area accessible to wineries, walks, and cycle track. It is well furnished and equipped. We are looking forward to a visit in winter to experience those wonderful fire places. Hosting excellent.

River Walk Cottage

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was well located to enable us to walk to the excellent restaurant and hotel in Auburn. Very generous cooked breakfast provisions. Terrific open fire well stocked with supplies of wood. The various floor levels within the property mean it is not suitable for everybody.

Gorgeous cottage for 4!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful little cottage. It's in a quiet spot, off the main road, but close enough to walk to local places of interest and food options, especially the Rising Sun Inn Hotel.
