At Meadow Cottage, you have a lot more space than a hotel or serviced apartment, which works out to be more economical,, you have a complete house in an ideal location in beautiful surroundings. There is also plenty of parking and several lovely areas to sit and take in and smell the roses in the lovely gardens.

Meadow Cottage is a sweet character cottage that is 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a large lounge room and separate dining room. Some of the original features from the 1900's like the original ceilings, are still in place, but with a modern renovated kitchen you will love and new bathroom.. It is tastefully decorated in neutral colours and completed with vintage style furnishings. It has beautiful gardens both back and front with a sparkling pool and waterfall. Off street parking as well as plenty of parking on the large grassed verge. It is in a very peaceful and quiet area tucked away, but has lovely views of Kings Meadow with a lovely outdoor deck and entertaining area.

It is in a fantastic location as it is walking distance to Restaurants, Train, Shops, parks, character Pubs, Cafes and the beautiful Swan River and many heritage sites and walks. It is also within a 5 minute drive to the Swan Valley and the wineries, and many tourist stops like the chocolate factory, cheese factories, olive and coffee places. There is also many breweries and distilleries in the area that all welcome tourists and tastings.

Meadow Cottage is designed specifically as a place where adults can relax and unwind in complete privacy with every comfort you would expect or need. It is conveniently nestled about 10 minutes from Perth City CBD and 6km from Perth Airport.

Guildford is a trendy but old suburb that is expensive to buy real estate in so a very a cool place to rent, very close to the airport and the city of Perth. It is in a great historic heritage area with lots of fabulous Antique Stores, Cafes, Pubs, the Famous Alfred's kitchen and lovely walks and cycle paths.

The cottage is In the same street as, and nearly opposite the old historic Fire Station, Garrick theatre and old library and Town Hall. Very close by is the famous Alfred's Kitchen - people come from far and wide to taste their famous burgers, Pea and Ham soup and curries cooked on the old wood stoves. On the corner is the Stirling Arms hotel and close by is the lovely Rose and Crown, Historic Guildford Hotel and Woodbridge hotel. They are great old pubs that have lovely meals and outdoor areas for all the family to enjoy. There are many other food choices within walking distance. These include Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, Gourmet, Australian, European, Bakeries and many lovely Coffee Shops and Cafes.

Meadow Cottage is located in the heart of historic Guildford and the Swan Valley region, famous for its wineries, cafes and restaurants.

The pretty market town of Guildford was one of 3 towns established in the Swan River colony in 1829. The entire town has been classified by the National Trust and features many heritage listed buildings. Guided walks and self guided walk trails are available from the Swan Valley Visitor Centre located in the original 1866 courthouse, just a short walk from The Hollies.

Meadow Cottage is walking distance of Guildford town centre with it's interesting antique shops and cafes, the picturesque Chapel of St. Mary and St. George at nearby Guildford Grammar School, and the Rose & Crown Hotel built in 1841 and voted one of Perth's top 20 tourist attractions.

A short drive away is Woodbridge House, built in 1885, and home to the Harper family. One of the Harper boys killed in WWI was the inspiration for the movie Gallipoli. The house is now opened by the National Trust.

The scenic Swan Valley is Perth's premium food and wine destination and is home to more than 150 attractions including wineries, restaurants, cafes, breweries, antiques, arts, crafts and shopping

The Guildford Train Station is a short walk away and the train takes about 12 minutes to the City. If not it is a short drive along either Guildford Rd or Great Eastern Highway to the City. We are also very close by to the Casino at Burswood.
