Amazing retreat for large groups!
We stayed in July 2019. Our group was a retreat for 10 food bloggers and the house was perfect for us. Having 10 bedrooms meant we could each have our own room, but there is plenty of space in the upstairs bedrooms for rollaways or extra people.
The rooms are clean, well appointed and the beds are comfortable. There is plenty of space for large groups to sleep, hang out and be together. They even have hairdryers and shampoo in the bathrooms!
The kitchen was well equipped and was a cooks dream. As food bloggers we tend to cook while we're on trips and this was the most well appointed house I've ever stayed at. There were tons of pans, decorative cutting boards, spices and everything needed to make any kind of meal.
The grounds of the house are fabulous. We loved using the hot tub and fire pit and sitting in the outdoor pergola.
The house is a tad remote, which I knew about beforehand. Just be aware that uber/lyft is a little hard to come by out here (not anything to do with the property owners, of course) but if you're planning to take rideshare into Sonoma or Santa Rosa for dinners you may have a long wait to find someone to bring you home.
The house is within walking distance of a few restaurants, a small grocery, and several wineries so if you don't ever want to get in a car while you're staying you can totally do everything you need to within walking.
For large groups, just know that the Sonoma curfew is 10pm and the house does have neighbors so if that's something that might be an issue, keep it in mind.
Overall this house was absolutely amazing and if we go to the area again I will book this one. Fabulous!
Great place & location
This was a perfect place for our family business meeting. Just close enough to town to be in the middle of wine country. The property was well taken care of and had wonderful outdoor places for relaxing or playing. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The gardens are full of colorful blooms and birds.
Beautiful property for large group!
We stayed at Casa Bella for a long weekend with 15 family and friends. The house and grounds are beautiful and were perfect for a group of our size. We utilized the outdoor space the most for cooking and socializing. Loved all the outdoor games they had and the bocce court is a bonus, too! Highly suggest this spot. Close to local markets and restaurants. Walking distance wineries are an added bonus. Very little street noise despite being close to the main roadway. Any small issues were dealt with right away by Laurie, the onsite property manager!
Nice place, very spacious!
Good setting- decent interior, best part was outside firepit.
Very appropriate and functional for a corporate retreat
The house and grounds are very well equipped. Plentiful bedrooms and bathrooms provide the best aspects of guest privacy found in a hotel, and shared dining / relaxing found in a home. It is part older home and part newer addition, so the layout is somewhat unconventional, but it works well. It is set up very well for corporate groups (or I suppose a group of couples) to work, play, and tour wine country.
GREAT property for big groups right in the middle of the wine country!
We had 8 couples for a long weekend to celebrate 50th birthdays. The house was perfect. Even though it was cold out, we hung out around the fire pit. Everyone had their own bedrooms and the common areas were big enough for us to gather. We will definitely be back!!
We re nestled in the Valley of the Moon, surrounded by vineyards and in walking distance of many tasting rooms and only a short distance to the historic towns of Glen Ellen and Sonoma and an hour from the spectacular Pacific coastline.
After walking to many tasting rooms and sampling the local restaurants, you will get the best feel of the land by having car or having us arrange a car and driver for you.
