Tambo Trails by the Ringbark is situated on 2.4 hectares of park land overlooking its' own dam 100m away. Fruit trees have been planted.

The Ringbark stands sentinel to the wonderful forests that once covered East Gippsland. The house looks north over rolling hills of timber and farmland. There is a large deck from which to enjoy the sunset, away from city noise and pollution, and stars to view unimpeded by city lights

The house was built in 2010 and there is plenty of space for boats and trailers. Fruit trees have been planted and hopefully will provide fresh fruit for guests in years to come

Beautiful property

well maintained, had a comfortable 3nights stay. Hilary was very thoughtful and made sure we have all the things we need to have a delightful stay. Place in 20mins away from Lakes Entrance, general store/cafe is available nearby. Would definitely come back for another short holiday :)

Beautiful place

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoy our stay at his beautiful house. The scenery was beautiful and the house was nice and clean. The host Hilary was great in term of correspondence and helpfulness.

Totally recommend staying here.

PS- the only thing is that the website Stayz does not reflect the correct price. The house said occupy up to 6 ppl but the price quoted is only for 2ppl. Extra adults and kids are charged extra. We were made aware straight away but it felt like hidden costs. We made the decision to go ahead and book the place and did not regret it as the place was lovely.

Excellent place to unwind

All the comforts from home are provided. The warmth of this property was lovely to come home to after a day out in the cold. Wonderful country outlooks and great times shared around the fire and well layed out living spaces. Would love to return!

Peaceful retreat in perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at Tambo Trails by the Ringbark. The house is modern and well-equipped -- and the kitchen and lounge have fantastic views over the surrounding countryside. The house is on a quiet road and is located near an old rail trail. We were able to bring our dog and enjoyed long walks on the trail and near the Tambo River. And it is just a short drive to Metung and Bairnsdale!
