About the property

Lakeside House is a beautiful large family home, situated opposite a lake. Equipped with everything you'll need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Sparkling pool, patio and bbq area. Only minutes to the beautiful white sandy beach, which boasts clear water. Also close to local shops, and nearby larger shopping centre's. Nearby is Rockingham one side and Mandurah the other,both boasting plenty of shops and restaurants for all budgets.

The home has 4 good size bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Open plan kitchen/dining and large family room. Plus a separate pool room. It also has ducted air conditioning, to cool you down when the weather hots up, and a gas heater for the cool winter nights.

Locality

Western Australia is the only place to be in my eyes. It boasts glorious white sandy beaches which stretch for literally miles and clear sparkling water. Perth city is one of the prettiest i've ever seen, with the view from Kings Park (especially at night) breath-taking. Late night shopping in the city on friday is great and what better way to relax but in nearby Northbridge, where eating and night clubs are a plenty. Where else would you get to hand feed kangaroo's and parrots but in Perth. Fremantle is only a short car or train ride away where it boasts the best market in Perth. The street restaurants and cafe's are a must and even the prison tour if your game(especially the night tour). Don't forget to take a trip to Mandurah to see how the others live in their canal style, executive homes. Further down the coast is the fabulous winery's at Margaret river, and the surfers paradise

Wonderful comfortable holiday stay

We travelled over from the UK and stayed here in October 2015 with family and loved the place. It is situated between Warnbro and Port Kennedy Central so you have plenty of options for food, drinks and the beach with Rockingham shore beach just 5 - 10 minutes drive up the road. Not the easiest place to try and find without a Sat Nav as most estates are similar and can become like a maze to tourists, so make sure you have a sat nav if driving.

The house is clean and tidy and has 4 lovely sized bedrooms with one ideal for 4 children (bunkbeds). The pool is great and ideal size and the essential BBQ is at your disposal with all of the utensils you need. The place has (air conditioning although we did not use it) and ceiling fans to keep you cool and radiators if ever you want them. We had 4 adults and 6 children with us and it was perfectly spacious for our needs. The kitchen is great and there is a garage.

The area is very quiet and although we did not really get to know any neighbours those that did speak were very friendly. The house is not double glazed and so as quiet as the suburb is, the odd time you might here noisy bikers or supped up car exhausts early in the morning. Other than that it is as quiet and as comfortable as you would like from a holiday home.

I can't speak highly enough of Trish the owner and her son Danny was a great help too. They will do anything to help. If you are looking for an affordable place that is nicely situated half way between Perth (45 mins) Freemantle (40 mins) and Mandurah (25mins) then this is ideal place for you and your family if you have a car to travel. A short commute via the Kiwana Freeway to these cities and with Rockingham nearby then I would certainly recommend this to you. Thanks for a great hassle free stay Trish, loved the place.
