Extremely private estate on 2.5 acres of Pacific Ocean blufftop frontage!
The absolutely the most fantastic vacation ever. It was perfect from beginning to end! So very hard to leave. We were blessed to live in the Bay Area for many years, and staying here has been a dream. Great weather to top it off. We WILL be back. Barbara, you were a gem to work with. Thank you.
A great place to stay w amazing views and a wonderful deck. The hot tub allows clear view of the seas and the stars. Beds are comfortable, living room and kitchen are great with Windows throughout so the ocean is always in view. Five minutes from Gualala and five minutes from Anchor Bay. No real nightlife in either town but friendly people and good restaurants. The Russian restaurant and the Thai restaurant were real great surprises. Highly recommend this house to just relax and enjoy the views and the weather
This house is located in a beautiful area. Although it is located on a highway, I tall wooden fence hides the property. The backyard deck extends along the entire back of the house and wraps around the side. The hot tub is a very nice touch to this house. The weather in August was nice and cool (sweatshirts) and the small town nearby had a nice coffee shop and a very high end restaurant. I loved the entire stay. Beautiful house!
this place was amazing. Went with another couple and had a wonderful time. People in town were really friendly. Didn't want to leave. Highly recommend!
My husband and I stayed here with another couple and had a wonderful time. From the time we walked in the door, we didn't want to leave. The views were AMAZING and having such a beautiful home to enjoy them in was wonderful. The entire home was very well maintained and well appointed. When you walk in the first thing you see is the entire wall of windows facing the ocean! Even from the bedrooms you have a great view of the ocean. The hot tub was another great feature of the home. While we were there, we saw some whales off in the distance. The town of Gualala is cute and we also made our way north to Mendocino. The local beaches provided some enjoyable time wading in the water as it was too cold to swim.
Barbara was great to work with and provided us with all the information we needed. We had a GREAT vacation and hope to get back soon!
My wife and I stayed at the beach house for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer. As nice as the pictures are, they’re nothing compared to walking in the front door and onto the patio to see the stunning views. We enjoyed the town of Gualala and the Mendocino coast but couldn’t wait to get back to the house to enjoy everything it had to offer! We look forward to returning some day soon.
We stayed at the Beach House for a week and none of us wanted to leave...ever. The house had all of the creature comforts one could wish for, none better than the hot tub. A fabulous place to watch the sunset or sunrise. I read with confusion other comments about Barb, the house manager, and simply shake my head. Barb was kind, helpful, very clear in the information she sent (with detailed instructions about everything, including a map), and was a delight.
A footnote to those of you who may have mobility issues as I do. The house is on a cliff and has no direct beach access. We traveled from Fort Ross to Mendocino and found the most accommodating beach to be at Gualala Regional Park as it has a gently sloped paved trail to the beach.
Visit the historic Point Arena Lighthouse, fish off the Pier in nearby Point Arena. Kayak the Gualala River in the summer months. Wineries located North and South of the home.
