The villa is located on the waterfront of Drummoyne. Drummoyne sits on the peninsula between Iron Cove and Five Dock Bay. It is surrounded on three sides by the famous Sydney Harbour!

OPAL cards for use on all of Sydney's public transport with $20.00 starting balance can be provided.

Please request OPAL CARDS before booking or before checking in.

Kayaks and a canoe are also available for hire. These are easily pushed into the water from the private beach located on site.

B&B facilities are available.

This can include continental or cooked breakfast, tea and or expresso coffee and fresh fruit juices.

Home delivered organic fruit and vegie boxes weekly or bi weekly can be organised on request.

You are located a stones throw away from the famous shopping central Birkenhead Point, cafes and organic markets and two doors up from the Drummoyne sailing club with access to fine dining or bistro, bar and TAB.

Access to public transport of buses and ferries is also very simple!

There is also a Taxi stand in front of Birkenhead Point which is only 200 metres away.This great value apartment is only walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants, The bay run and popular Balmain strip. A short bus trip or taxi ride will take you directly to Darling Harbour, the fish markets and the city where you can view the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera House and visit the Royal Botanical Gardens.

My aim is to provide a boutique style short term letting with all the creature comforts one would wish for close to the city surrounded by a relaxed green setting on the water.

Simply the Best

What a wonderful oasis so quiet and peaceful and yet so close to everything. We visited all over Sydney and had no problems getting to all the different suburbs. Always so good to get "home" to this lovely villa, our fur babies loved the little safe haven in the garden. Everything you could ever need to be a gourmet cook was available so well stocked, comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for showers. Lynn was a wonderful host and a mine of information, always at hand if needed. We will be back for sure. This accommodation was "simply the Best" so clean even the windows sparkle.

Amazing home with everything you could need!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Lynn! Her home has everything you could need -- all perfectly organized! It was the first time in all our many years of renting VRBOs that we felt like this was like OUR home. From her complete spice rack, to the tea collection, to the laundry! My only regret was that it was too cold to enjoy the beautiful patio area of the home. While the home is not located in the CBD, it is close to Birkenhead Point Outlets, and a 15 min walk to the water ferry (we chose not to use the local buses, which were very close as well). Lynn was there to greet us (with fresh cream for the nespresso and tea, no less!) and make sure that everything was perfect for our check-in, and was always available should be need something!

Hard work

Well set up apartment with nice outdoor areas. The owner was hard work- aggressive in her communications, could only accept credit card payment through Paypal which was difficult for us making a corporate booking. Threatened repeatedly to cancel my booking. Paying extra $200 for cleaning fee and for internet ($10 a day) also seemed excessive.

Owner's Response: Thanks for feed back back. I am a little confused at your comments as all my fees and charges are all listed and available both on my site listing and in my quotes I send to potential guests prior to booking. My terms and conditions are also listed at this time. A payment of 50% deposit is required to book my property and secure the dates guests require. You did not do this. Full payment is required a month before check in. You did not complete this either. I completed extra paperwork for your booking requirements which I have never had to do for any other booking. I completed this the same day as I receive it some five weeks before your selected lease dates. 24 hrs before your booking was due to commence you still had not made a payment. I do not know of any business who would complete any transaction prior to payment. I am bewildered that you would think an owner would allow access to their property without payment in full being received before handing over keys. Your booking was only for two days considering the extra paperwork you required, the numerous emails and phone calls for requests of payment and the feed back I have received you have proved to be my most difficult client to date. It is a shame that you have perceived me as hard work as I have made every effort to accommodate your specific requests, my 5* service is normally gratefully appreciated by other guests.

Ticked all our boxes and more. Exceptional care!

We found that this apartment really ticked all the boxes for our stay. We had stayed in the city itself on previous stays in Sydney and wanted this time to be in a calm residential suburb, but directly on the harbour with water views. Drummoyne suited us very well. It was just a few minutes drive from our daughter and her family. The situation of this property is very convenient. Being 2 minutes walk from Birkenhead Point was very convenient for everyday shopping. Not only Coles and Aldi but also a good butcher, fruit and veg shop and bakery amongst other shops. The sailing club is also handy for quality meals. Loads of restaurants deliver here  we recommend Blue Monkey Thai, I Rich Thai and Dough Delight Pizza, and it is vital to visit Ocean Foods Fish and Chips on Lyons Road.

It was perfect to have the lovely courtyard garden and to be able to eat (and barbecue) outside. And when our toddler grandson visited he was safely enclosed. Just right. We had all the (good quality) equipment we could have needed in the apartment. I have never seen such a comprehensively equipped kitchen in any other property that I have rented. And if there was anything else we needed, Lynn would have sourced it. I am a wheelchair user and always have huge problems finding suitabke properties that actually live up to their descriptions. Lynn kindly allowed my daughter to visit before booking to verify the space and access. I needed a small ramp to help with the sill of the sliding door to the garden. Lynns partner actually made one for me before we arrived. Care and concern is what Lynn provides best for her visitors. She is available to assist at the most particularly unexpected times and everything is handled professionally. This is a good option for other wheelchair users. Sufficient space inside to manoeuvre, parking spaces on the street outside usually, in addition to the garage space, buses to the city on Victoria Road (5-10 minutes walk). The ferry proved a bit too far for us to walk (about 20 minutes for most people). I almost hesitate to give a good review as there is already a steady flow of satisfied return visitors! Thank you Lynn for all your help. It was lovely to meet you and your family and we very much hope to be back again soon.

Absolutely one of the BEST properties around!

This was our first visit to Sydney and found Lynn's place purely by accident. Everyone asked why Drummoyne (outside of Sydney)? First, it was an accident since we didn't really know what we were doing but couldn't have asked for a better location. The Opal card gets you everywhere in Sydney trains, buses, and ferry's, so pick one up anywhere in town. We actually were able to get ours at the airport before we arrived. If you're from out of town, you don't need a car,

Sydney's transportation is absolutely wonderful. I would recommend a taxi to the property and the Opal card to get everywhere else from Circular Quay in downtown. The bus stop was a short walk up the street (about 2 - 3 blocks) and will take you to downtown Sydney and you can get everywhere on train, bus or ferry from there. The ferry stop is only about 1/4 of a mile away and an easy walk. Lynn provided everything you could need and the washer and dryer made travelling easy. Another really nice feature of the property is having the Yacht club next door and they provided us great meals and entertainment throughout the week along with the Birkenhead Factory Outlet next door. Lynn made sure we had everything we needed and the BBQ was great to cook our own meals at home. I would highly recommend this property to all my friends and family. Get away from the city and into a nice suburb with Oceanfront views and your own beach! The city is crowded and other than limited restaurants in Drummoyne, the property really offers a lot of value for younger and older alike.

This is great for couples, families and anyone just interested in a nice surrounding! Another great thing they have are park areas to walk and watching the sail boats out of the yacht club.
