About the property

The apartment is in the Treasury on Collins building - Heritage high ceilings in an elegant and quiet 19th Century building - Stylish, large one bedroom apartment with spacious, carpeted bedroom and a separate large lounge including dining table and a study desk, plus new appliances in the kitchen, new cabinetry,and stylish timber flooring in the living area.

But much less $$$ than other similar apartments charge in the same building as I do not have a reception desk etc

There is a flat-screen TV in both the living room and the bedroom, heating/air con and also a washer /dryer in the bathroom. There is a sofa bed in the living room if guests require an extra bed -( there is an extra linen charge for this ). Lift, Non-smoking, Ironing Facilities,

The fitout is eclectic and has luxurious touches like fresh flowers and a stylish decor .

Conveniently there is a mini market almost downstairs which is open for long hours and sells a large range of food and other items and also has a licensed section

Treasury on Collins is a heritage old bank building - for guests info there is desk in the lobby run by another operator who has some of the apartments - they do not provide service to my guests but if you have any questions please give me a call

Close to everything

The city is a fantastic place to stay - near to the river, the shops, the theatres, the arcades and lanes - a five minute tram ride to the MCG or the same to Etihad Stadium. Crown Casino is a few minute walk too - but the apartment is in a quiet corner of the building so restful and relaxing too

There is a tram stop downstairs- along Collins St - routes to Docklands South Melbourne and out to Brunswick Fitzroy Richmond and on to Eastern suburbs as well. Parking is available nearby at a daily charge

Lots of great restaurant in the city and near the city - we can provide a list of interesting ones in all price points plus give advice on up coming things to do in Melbourne

Other facilities

There is a BIR, ironing board and washer /dryer so you can be self sufficient. There is no car parking in the building but can be arranged nearby for $40 per day. But guests don't really need a car - the tram is right there, train nearby and most things in Melbourne can be walked to in 5 minutes from this great location - central but quiet!!

The apartment only has the one bedroom ( queen bed) but there is a portacot available for small children if required , and there is also a sofa bed that can be made up if required

There is a small gym in the building too

Great Find

Just returned from an extended weekend in this lovely apartment. Denise the owner was very easy to work with and was very generous with an early check in and late departure. Apartment is in a beautiful building, which has a restaurant and bar on the ground floor, and elevator to the apartment. Photos depict a genuine overview of the apartment. Location very central to restaurants, bars and transport. Bed was comfortable, and linen good quality, and apartment very clean. Plenty of cooking utensils, if you intended to cook, and some pantry items in cupboards.

Would have no hesitation recommending this to others and would be very happy to return.
