ENJOY PORT PIRIE AND SURROUNDS AND COME BACK HOME TO THE WET LIZARD.
The weather here is something else again. It is sort of sub-tropical (the palm trees love it) with occasional breezes with a hint of the outback.
The Wet Lizard is a modernised home which formed part of the original farm house of the Williams family. As the town grew the farm land was developed into what is now an inner area of the Port Pirie township.
Please note: We have made the Tidal Ponds as safe as we can, however, adult supervision of children is always required around water.

About Helen and Peter Easson
We are proud to offer The Wet Lizard as short term accommodation in Port Pirie. We enjoy staying in good quality accommodation ourselves, so we make every effort to present the same for others. We have been offering holiday accommodation for about 5 years and have won the Stayz (now Homeaway) "Peoples Choice Awards" for two of our places. We haven't won an award for this house yet, but we will keep trying :)

Fantastic. Quiet comfortable relax.
Had a lovely 3 nights. Would come back in an instant. Want somewhere relaxing, this is it. Thanks Helen and Peter
Nice, clean house.
Clean and tidy house. Hosts easy to deal with. Thank you for everything
Lovely little house in Port Pirie. Loved the outdoor area and fountain setting.
The house was very clean and tidy with everything you could need for your stay. Helen and Peter are fantastic to deal with. Floor boards in the hall are bit noisy but this didn't bother us as we were all adults and in bed at the same time. Bathroom was modern and a good size. Only recommendation would be to have an aircon unit in the front lounge as it did get quite warm a few days we were there. Really liked the fans in each room though and enjoyed sleeping with these on. Thank you again, we had a great stay!
Enjoyed our stay and property was great. Ple nty of room to move and ccomfortable. Getting in the locked gate at night was bit of a hassle, think you need more light on actual key pad as it was hard to see especially when it was raining at the time as well.
Thanks for your review Chris. It's appreciated. We didn't realise the light at the gate wasn't working. We'll get straight onto it.
Me and my partner stayed at the wet lizard over the weekend and we had the best time, was so relaxing & we will be spreading the word to all our friends & to try the wet lizard...it's a must!!
I stayed at the Wet Lizard for four nights with three elderly relatives. Apart from some slight difficulty getting up three steps by the back gate, the house was ideal for them. It was very clean and comfortable, the bedding fresh and new, the shower easy to use, and the kitchen very thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The water feature is lovely--no sign of a lizard though!
