About Giovanna Cecchi
Hello, I LOVE DOGS................as you can see from my photo. I am 53 and I moved from Florence to this great place. I like my job very much and I hope you will feel happy at my place.
Giovanna Cecchi purchased this Villa in 2011
Why Giovanna Cecchi chose Brolio
My property is simply unique. Not only for its strategic location, the beautiful enclosed park, panoramic location, peace, love for detail, but mostly because it is an authentic farmhouse in a great combination between elegance and informality. My presence is very discreet, thanks to the big space can also be difficult to meet. Many of my guests said they enjoyed my suggestions and discovered the unknown routes to tourist guides... thanks to my knowledge of the area. I try to convey the love of nature and animals (I have 4 dogs and 1 cat), making every effort needed to make sure my guests have a pleasant stay
What makes this Villa unique
It is possible to organise a cooking class of typical Tuscan dishes in the outdoor kitchen, if the weather permits and you reserve in advance. Most of the ingredients used by the chef come from the farmhouse’s organic garden and we exclusively use the owner’s own olive oil.

We really enjoyed the farmhouse. The views were outstanding.
Excellent stay in the Tuscan countryside!
Centrally located villa with easy access to many popular hill towns, lovely restaurants, & markets. We enjoyed the grounds, the pool, and a most memorable cooking lesson on site in the outdoor kitchen under the Tuscan sky. Grazie Giovanna!
Thank you so much!!! Giovanna and dogs
Family stay August 2019
We had high hopes for our week at Giovanna's villa but our experience surpassed them. It is a beautiful villa set in amazing grounds, which formed the perfect place for our holiday. Giovanni was a informative and helpful host. We would definitely recommend the accommodation and we are currently enjoying Giovanna's olive oil now we are back in England. Thanks!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Wonderful part of the world
While unseasonable weather threatened to dampen spirits, Tuscany still has so much to offer. Brolio Quinto is perfectly located to visit many wonderful ancient towns. The grounds were perfect for our dog, Winnie, who loved her stay and we were very happy in the property, albeit it is more designed for warmer weather than we got! Thanks Giovanna for such a warm welcome and an amazing meal.
Michael thank you for your really kind words...Giovanna and dogs xxxxxx
Idyllic Tuscan Villa
This villa is beyond perfection and showcases all there is to love about Tuscany--the people, the countryside, and the lifestyle...
Giovanna greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house and property. She lives there with her dogs and, sometimes, her parents. Her warmth was the cherry on top of our stay and her loyal cohort of dogs will endear themselves to guests instantly. There is a long history of "agritourismo" in Italy of families renting part of their farm to travelers and Giovanna's commitment to this tradition and to hospitality truly made our experience. Giovanna took the time to give us her personal recommendations for the area (Val d'Orcia is a MUST) and she even made us a poolside pitcher of fresh lemonade (with gin) from lemons grown on her farm. Even though Giovanna, and sometimes friends or family, is there and available for help, she respected our privacy at all times and gave us plenty of space to relax.
The Villa is absolutely gorgeous and well-kept with stunning local plants, flowers, and trees. The property and, specifically the pool, has spectacular views of the Tuscan countryside leading up to the town of Cortona. The farm was easy to find using google maps and there were shops, restaurants, and a grocery store located a short drive away. After the bustle of visiting Rome and Florence, this villa was the perfect retreat and the highlight of our stay in Italy. The outdoor kitchen and farm table made for the perfect setting for one of the best meals of our trip (home cooking is something travelers will surely miss) and Giovanna let us use fresh herbs from her garden for our family dinner. The upper-level of the villa is the guest area with a private entrance. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The main room has a huge fireplace that would be great in the cold months. The kitchen has everything we needed (including a drip coffee-maker, which we missed as Americans).
My family (7 adults) can't recommend this villa enough and are truly thankful to Giovanna for hosting us. We all feel that our stay at her villa was something truly Italian that we could not have experienced anywhere else in the world. Thank you Giovanna, we hope to return!
I have started renting my house from 2007, I have received a lot of reviews..and all of them positive. This is the first time I started crying while I was reading your words. Thank you thank you and thank you.
My farmhouse,my dogs,my garden are my like. I love to share all this love with people like you!
Thank you again
All my best
Brolio Quinto is in the heart of the genuine tuscan countryside and joins to the peace of its landscapes in which there are gorgeous art cities. Arezzo is only 20 kilometers away, where every first Sunday of the month, is carried out an important market of the antique.
Moreover the first Sunday of September the city accommodates the ancient Giostra of the Saracino, a typical medieval quarrel. If you make your journey in the months of July and August, you can attend to the famous Palio of the city of Siena, which is only 45 km from here.
Siena is soaked of traditions and artistic masterpieces of inestimable beauty like the Cathedral, the Communal Palace and the famous square Piazza del Campo, where takes place the Palio.
More nearby, and not less interesting, you can find cities like Cortona and Castiglion Fiorentino, two beautiful Etruscan towns full of art, events and folklore. Castiglion Fiorentino is also the closest inhabited center from the BROLIO QUINTO farmhouse.
Other interesting tourist destinations are Pienza, a jewel of the renaissance architecture, Chianciano Terme, elegant thermal station, famous for its curative waters, and Montalcino for its most valuable wine quality (Brunello, Nobile di Montepulciano).
For the fishing lovers there is a private lake for calm days dedicated to the fishing sport. While for the golf lovers we can arrange a tour to a course with 18 holes called “Conte Ugolino” near Florence.
If there are any other questions that you want to turn us or clarifications that you need, don’t hesitate to contact us directly. We are very glad to supply every explanation.
