Great Retreat

This was our second stay at this Eco-friendly cottage. We are drawn to cottages on farms with an emphasis on sustainability. This cottage is very comfortable and has everything you could want and the view of the stars at night is simply amazing. The hosts are great!

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

This was the best value of four destinations on our latest trip, a really well made and comfy 2br house with good furnishings, a well equipped kitchen and good bathroom with a full size shower. The mix of outdoor spaces and indoor was lovely, and the wood fire great for heating. We loved the fresh passionfruits from the garden, and the cute cottage garden sits nicely in the surrounding dry paddocks.

There are sheep and horses as you come in, and it's set on quite a few acres of land giving you lots of space and privacy. It's only about 6 mins to Coonabarabran and 45 mins to Warrumbungles National Park.

Thanks we really loved our stay!

The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The cottage was cosy and inviting. Had everything we needed plus more and the view is to die for! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay only wish we had stayed longer!

fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

our family walked the Warrenbungles and the lovely cottage was perfect location. It is very clean and perfect for a family holiday. It is only a short drive to town and the owners were very helpful when we arrived in the dark. Only regret was we didn't stay longer.
