We have just arrive home after a wonderful month holiday (Christmas) in this San Francisco apartment. To be honest, it can't get any better. It's located in a very nice building, well kept, located, and equipped beyond your needs. Although I didn't have the chance to meet the owner (Mr. Peter), I did wrote him a couple of emails during my stay which where answered immediately by him. And It was always very responsive to my requests. This is definitely a great option to stay in San Francisco. And I wouldn't hesitate to use it again in the future.
My wife and I had a great time staying here for the month of September. The property is just as described. It is well located in a high-rise with a full-time concierge just below Nob Hill. While we parked in the building, since we bought a 1-month transit pass we did not need the car very much. The unit is nicely furnished and very clean. Many local markets and good restaurants within several blocks. A Trader Joes is within easy walking distance. We cooked most dinners in the kitchen (well stocked). We attended two special concerts at Grace Cathedral and took many walking tours offered by City Walks. The owner nicely accommodated our needs. I recommend this property.
Arrived to find prior tenant had overstayed their rental, so housekeepers were pressed for time to make ready. Cats had attacked upholstered chairs, so we took a day to clean up loose threads. Had to provide our own hand towels, bath mat, paper products. Also, had to park our VW van in $300/mo. garage due to low clearance in bldg. garage (6'5").
This condo was perfect for our visit to San Francisco. It had all the comforts of a home, was exactly as described and the owner was very helpful. It was close to the cable cars and other public transport. The building was secure and we always felt safe in the area.
We visited many of the resturants and takeaways in the area (Chopstix and Uncle Vito's pizza are great) and felt there was a good selection in close proximity.
I would definitely reccommend this condo to others and will be booking again for future visits.
My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights on a trip that was part business and part pleasure. We chose Peter’s unit based on our desire for a place with more amenities than those typically available in a cramped hotel room. This place was perfect for our needs. It is a large, fully equipped apartment in the heart of San Francisco. The apartment (and the entire building) was clean, well maintained, and the staff was very accommodating. The “staff” is more than just security and maintenance personnel. The building’s general manager has an office onsite and is very helpful. The front desk is staffed 24/7 with people who are helpful and friendly.
You cannot beat the location. We walked to most places, but there are plenty of public transportation options, including cables cars about 2 blocks away. There are dozens of restaurants within a short walk. You can walk to Union Square within 15 minutes. Also, there are multiple places to purchase groceries and other provisions within a block of the building.
Importantly, the unit has WiFi (no charge) and Cable TV. We spent time most mornings drinking coffee and plotting out our day using the internet, so the WiFi was very helpful.
I would highly recommend Peter’s place if you are planning a short or extended visit to the City by the Bay!
I recently stayed in this condo for a month. I found the condo to be well equipped, clean, quiet, spacious and in a great location. When I had a problem, the owner, Peter, fixed it in a timely manner. It's close to bus lines in both directions and is within walking distance of several tourist spots, theaters and restaurants. The laundry room is well maintained as is the pool. There are two markets within a block and a great sandwich shop "Estella's" across the street. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to visit the great city of San Francisco.
Enjoy an urban oasis close to everything: world class shoppoing at Union Square, the bustle of China Town, do your business in the Financial District or visit the many amazing restaurants.
