Experience a truly unique holiday at the Historic Roseneath Station, in the Fishermens Cottage.

Roseneath lies 68kms west of Tenterfield along the Bruxner Highway, it has on the property 2kms of River frontage, great for Fishing, swimming and Kayaking ( complimentary kayak hire) t was once owned by Sir Michael Bruxner ( member of Parliament and Deputy Premier of NSW) He purchased Roseneath Station in 1917 and owned the property for over 35 years, it was originally 20,000 acres which ran predominantly sheep along with Hereford Cattle, the property now is approximately 6,500 acres which manly runs cattle and a small amount of sheep.

We are located not far from the national parks and the Glen Lyon Dam is only 15 minutes along the highway. Our neighbouring property is Zappa Winery which offers wine tasting to their visitors and further up Reedy Creek winery The Fishermens Cottage is a rustic quaint farmhouse, with 2 bedrooms ( 2 bedrooms have queen beds ) the lounge room has a large comfy sofa bed as well. The accommodation will sleep up to 6 people comfortably, Linens are provided. The Cottage has a fireplace in the lounge room, great for those cold winter nights and dining table and chairs. In the kitchen it has microwave, toaster Fridge and cooking facilities for your convenience. We can also supply nespresso machine with pods ( extra charge)It also has air conditioner in bedroom. Ask about our guest food list we can supply to you, all local produce award winning products.

The cottage has an enclosed verandah with table and chairs and large BBQ , guests can also help feed the cows and calves as well, and there is a small pony for the little members of the family also, take a trip into town and visit the Tenterfield Saddler or a short drive to the national parks as well
