Located only 6 blocks from King Street's exciting new restaurants and boutique shops, this 1830's single style residence has been newly renovated with modern conveniences. High ceilings, gleaming heart pine floors, original mantled fireplaces help give our guests a true charleston experience. This apartment is located on the first floor of the house. The bedrooms are set at either end of the apartment giving guest privacy for each other during their stay. The bathroom has just been fully renovated and features a tub with shower and tiled floors. The furnishings include a mix of antiques and modern furniture. There is a king size bed in one bedroom and a queen in the other bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked for those who choose to eat in. We offer hotel quality toiletries. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO SOFA IN THE APARTMENT. IF YOU ARE COMING TO CHARLESTON TO LOUNGE AND WATCH TV YOU MAY WANT TO LOOK AT OTHER OPTIONS. PLEASE VIEW OUR PHOTOS. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE APARTMENT. THERE IS A TV IN THE LIVING/DINING ROOM. THERE ARE NO TV'S IN THE BEDROOMS.

Lovely old home in good location

We spent the weekend in Charleston to attend a friend's wedding. Lois' house was beautiful with old floors and nice period features. We did not cook so I can't comment on kitchen supplies, etc., but the home was comfortable and quiet. The porch was a great way to spend the morning. Owners promptly dealt with a minor maintenance issue during our stay. They were very responsive in communicating with us.

Lois was a great host! Her property was very clean and she was very responsive throughout the whole booking and stay. The location was perfect...everything was a short drive and we LOVED the little restaurant (Hominy Grill) up the street for breakfast! This was a trip with my two sisters and my Mom and we were very comfortable the whole time! Would definitely recommend this beautiful house to anyone looking for an authentic Charleston home!

Wonderful small historic home , super clean, wonderful sheets on bed , could use more lighting on porch as when coming back at night very dark , also would suggest handrails on steps for those who need that support , but over all a sweet historic place , we will for sure be back soon ! A charming little house, clean, convenient, and a walking distance to the historic district, as well as numerous shopping, restaurant, and entertainment spots. The owner, Lois, was flexible, helpful, and very responsive to our needs. Our overall experience was very positive.
