Overview

About the property

Parma Farm is the oldest existing rural property in the Jervis Bay region and is heritage listed and classified by the National Trust of Australia.

It has beautiful views across the fields to national park.

Relax and watch the cows amble along at their mellow pace and listen to the birds in the trees.

Explore the property including the conservation corridor at the base of the property which includes a creek and large clearing, perfect for a picnic.

Try your luck catching Bass or yabbies from the lake.

Feed your food scraps to the chickens and collect their eggs.

Or take the short drive to one of the magnificent beaches of Jervis Bay

The farm is on Parma Road which is about 10 minutes south of Nowra, just before Jervis Bay Rd.

Many years ago The Corn Loft was where the husking of the farm's corn took place. It has undergone a complete renovation, however it retains many of its original features such as internal wooden walls and beams. The building is classified by the National Trust of Australia.

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

Myself and 4 friends came and stayed at this property for 2 nights. It was such a beautiful property. Loved the peaceful location but so close to Husskison. Cows would come up to the fence which created that real country feel. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back one time!

Beautiful rural farm

  • 4 of 5

The corn loft is in an excellent location around twenty minutes drive from Jervis bay set in beautiful farm land with large grounds to wonder around. The accommodation was comfortable. It was however pricey given we had to provide all our own linen, we didn't receive a key to the property and there were no basic staple provisions in the kitchen. Overall though i would recommend Corn Loft for a cosy stay in a stunning countryside setting.

Stunning property

  • 5 of 5

What an absolutely fantastic place. Alistair and Co were lovely, the accommodation was fantastic , we have just arrived home after spending Christmas there, the views were amazing the peace and tranquility only broken by the sound of a bird or cow. Close to the beach as well but it feels a million miles away from care. We are looking forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the log fire , can't recommend this place any more highly for a short getaway or a longer stay. We loved the farm dogs that greeted us each afternoon , the kids collected eggs and even enjoyed a swim in the dam. Thanks for having us , see you again soon Joselyn & Donna

Excellent getaway for family with pets

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed this holiday. We have three kids and a dog and we could not have asked for a better location. Best of both worlds with a farm stay and a short drive to the beaches.

Relaxing, beautiful setting, toddler-friendly

  • 5 of 5

We've been to the Corn Loft a few times now, both with friends and just as a family, and it is always the perfect relaxing retreat, with different stunning views from every room so that you can work your way around the house for a different outlook throughout the day. You can picnic or bbq in the back "garden"/field among the lemon trees and watch the kangaroos and cows grazing below, or settle at the table on the front deck with a bottle of wine and good book looking over the large dam and rolling hills beyond. The wood burner is great in winter, and the new cooker that's been installed makes all the difference for cooking those hearty meals that make for an authentic winter farmstay. Our 2-year-old son loved collecting the eggs from the chooks, and his bathtime has never been so easy in the big spa bath. There is so much safe outdoor space that he ran and ran and exhausted himself and slept through the night. A winner for all the family.
