About Borgo Paradiso
Owned by the same family for 70 years, the property has been farmed by generations of local farmers until the drastic decline in mountain farming during the 1980s. The farmhouses, once the summer residence of local farmers, have been lovingly restored to its original splendor and converted into boutique luxury chalets with all modern appliances while maintaining the traditional family history charm. The country houses underwent a complete green remodel, combining natural materials such as stone, marble and wood with sustainable technologies such as solar powered hot water system for improved energy efficiency. Today, following extensive land stewarding including regular manure applications to the fields in winter and slope brush cutting, the farm stll produces high quality hay for local alpine dairy farms on acres of spacious land terraces overlooking the lake. Borgo Paradiso continues to promote its cultural landscapes and heritage linking once again land resources to farming and high quality tourism experience.

Amazing, peaceful, beautiful place.
Ciro is an amazing and very friendly host. He and Cora, his dog, made us incredibly welcome and provided a fantastic relaxing end to our 2 week mini tour of Italy. The chalet is very well furnished and comfortable. The location is stunning and the views are breathtaking. The local village is perfect for holiday makers with all the shops and restaurants needed. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to wind down in amazing countryside.
The prettiest getaway and the bestest hideaway from the hustle and bustle. We throughly enjoyed our stay and so did Mister Freddie, our little one year old Schnauzer. He spent all day chasing grasshoppers, I am not sure if there are any left, his little tail never stopped wagging. Chalet Venere exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful luxury residence finished to a superb quality with a breathtaking room with a view. Alas, the bedding let the apartment down. Old. Worn. Mix mash of bedding more suited to a peasant/student living conditions than a villa at the exclusive Lake Garda. I slept not under such poor linen since a little boy at my Grandma's. But this is the only let down of Chalet Venere. We enjoyed seeing and hearing a working farm in action. Tractors, bale makers and the fresh smell of cut meadows gave the farm an authentic farmland feel and smell. The Senora welcoming us is brilliant and a lot of fun and speedily came to assist when so requested. All in all a highly recommended holiday retreat. Thank you. Willem A. Nel
Lovely location, very peaceful place to stay
Stayed in Chalet Venere for two weeks at the end of August. The owner was very welcoming, spoke great English, and was very helpful. It's a wonderful location; An easy 10 min walk into the village for a selection of v good restaurants, a small supermarket and several gelateria. It's only a 10 min drive to the nearest lake beach which is stoney not sandy, so the water is very clear. The nearest sandy beach is in Toscolano Moderno which is 20 min drive. The villa is small but perfectly formed! The lounge area is very comfortable and the large windows are great for enjoying the epic view and wild flowers , butterflies outside. Dining table is large & practical, the kitchen area is basic (no microwave or dishwasher) but this suited us fine. We cooked most days on the BBQ and the mountain breeze is welcome during the hotter days.
Amazing location, Ciro is a wonderful host
Stunning location looking out over Lake Garda and separated from the town of tignale. Wonderful grounds, swimming pool and bar (shared with other residence). If you could hire both houses then you would have free reign of the whole grounds.
