Both bedrooms are spacious and have built-in wardrobes, ceiling fans, block out blinds and also partial views to the ocean. The Master bedroom has a queen sized bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has been newly refurbished with a new shower and vanity and there is a separate bath perfect for families with young children.

The unit is located on the 2nd floor of a 3-storey building with a small balcony and out door setting so you can take in the beautiful views across Manly, the beach and the ocean. The unit reflects the beach side ambiance and relaxed feel of the area and offers a quiet escape form the hustle and bustle of Manly but is still close enough so you can be part of the action.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, oven, microwave, stove and dishwasher, a coffee machine and all the crockery, pots and pans and utensils you could possibly need to cook up a feast.

In addition the unit is equipped with air conditioning and heating as well as ceiling fans in the living area and both bedrooms plus unlimited Wifi, a large 45" flat screen TV and movies and DVD's and games to suit all tastes.

The garage is private and has an automatic opener so you can park your car securely but there is also parking available on the street at the front and rear of the building. For those guests wanting a bit more activity we also provide 2 bicycles and 2 razor scooters for your use.

The unit also has a shared laundry with washing machine and dryer located just outside the front door. There is no lift but the stairs are wide and easy to use - but it is not suitable for wheelchairs.

GUEST COMMENTS

Some of our previous guests have made the following comments:-

"A comfortable, clean, functional. light filled apartment with views of Manly Beach and beyond. Short stroll to Manly beach or Freshwater beach. Wonderful 5 min bike ride down the Esplanade to The Corso and Manly Wharf. It has the best equipped kitchen I've ever experienced in holiday accommodation; important for all who like to cook. The big comfortable dining table made it possible for our family to enjoy home cooked meals, complete school homework and use the laptop. The care and kindness shown by the property owner was impeccable. They provided complimentary "extras" which we never expected; breakfast supplies, chocolates and champagne! :) as well as those helpful little things like sticky tape, glad wrap, ice, spices etc. We've come home refreshed, happy and looking forward to our next visit to beautiful Manly.

"We are a family of four who stayed at Manly Beach Pad for a month in October 2014. The apartment was perfect for us; spacious, well equipped, nice building, quiet neighbourhood and beautiful views over Manly beach.

Lisa was really helpful and great to communicate with both before and during our stay.

Manly is the best place to stay if you want to enjoy the beach and Sydney, and this apartment on Queenscliff has a perfect location. There is no need for a car as you can walk or take the bus (and the ferry to the city) every where you like to go. The Manly Bach pad was good value and comes highly recommended.

"Lisa was an absolute pleasure to deal with and if we have overseas guests I will have no hesitation in contacting her again. The flat was neat and tidy, well positioned opposite the cafe and a short walk to either Manly or Freshwater beaches. We rented her place for relatives for our wedding and she even sent a quick email on our wedding day to wish us luck. It is the little things !

September 2014"

"Lisa is a fabulous host : Perfect accommodation for a family, very safe and clean (we are a family with 1 children 3yo and 2 twin babies). Lisa bought a cot for us before our arrival !

Lisa came to help us to bring our luggage the day of our arrival. We appreciated a lot because we were very loaded.

Good to know : there are two bus lines which pass near of the accommodation (lines 136 and 139), and which go to the wharf. Very useful with 2 trolleys !

Manly is a great place with children, we spent an unforgettable time there... thanks to Lisa !

April 2014"

"My twin brother Dallas and I were in Sydney for our photo exhibition at the Painters Gallery in Manly. We were lucky to find such suitable accommodation at Lisa's Beach Pad apartment in Queenscliff, within comfortable walking distance of the Gallery. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, included parking and had a great view.

Lisa went out of her way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay and to our surprise also bought friends to view our exhibition. We would highly recommend her Beach Pad to families or couples wishing to holiday in the Manly area. (email hidden) (website hidden)

March 2014"

"My wife and I, with our children aged 4 and 1, can recommend Lisa's pad. Its short distance to Freshwater and stroll to the Corso made it a great spot for the kids to choose which beach they wanted to play on. Have no fear of the flights of stairs down to the Manly promenade - we mastered them all even with a pram and filled grocery bags! Furthermore, her pad was adequately furnished for a family that included carpeted floors and bedrooms separated by a good-sized bathroom (with a bathtub) making our 14 night stay a comfortable and memorable one. Take my advice, go down to Freshwater Beach with its wide beach because it was a play haven for my children.

Happy campers!

Had a lovely stay at the Manly Beach Pad! Very comfortable accommodation, clean and bright with lots of extras to make our stay

very easy. Lisa is the perfect host and went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful visit. The thoughtful goodies that greeted us on arrival made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed lots of walks along the beautiful and vibrant Manly beachfront. I would definitely recommend a visit and would love to return.

Perfect Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the Manly Beach Pad was PERFECT! From Lisa answering any questions we had before our arrival, I knew we would have the best time. The unit is clean and has everything you need for your stay. From the added extras that are left for you on arrival, kitchen utensils to oil and spices, making it very easy to cook at home and save on money. You could not beat the view of Manly Beach and how close the walk was either way to Manly or over the hill to Freshwater, both locations are perfect! We could not have asked for a better unit, better location and better host. Lisa was so helpful throughout our stay, always a phone call away to offer help. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to ANYONE!

Great location with views

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely week at this apartment. It is at the northern end of manly beach and has great views. Also worth a look is freshwater bay just over the hill.

There are scooters and bikes in the property which are great for riding along manly beach.

Apartment is comfortable and well furnished and the owner Lisa keeps in touch and is very helpful

Owner's Response: Hi Tanya, Thanks for your lovely comments and I am sorry we didn't get a chance to meet personally during your stay. Good to hear you ventured off the beaten path to Freshwater as many people don't know about it nor realise how close it is to the apartment. So pleased that you made the most of the bicycles and scooters as its a fun way for a family to see all of Manly. Hope you will visit again :)

Excellent apartment

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was very light, airy and comfortable. It was only a few minutes walk to patrolled surf beach and about a 25 minute walk to the Corso. There are two bus stops close by. Lisa met us shortly after we arrived and was extremely helpful . Thanks Lisa.

Superb location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at 55 queens cliff road! What a spectacular location and great view of Manly without being caught up in the business of the "strip". Lisa met us and left much appreciated welcome gifts and was very attentive to our every need! It was a beautiful quick stroll down the stairs to the promenade where the beach was alive with surfers, joggers, and kids on scooters and skateboards! It was only a 10 min walk to the arcade and the bikes were much appreciated for picking up groceries. The coffee and milk frother were an added bonus! The flat is neat and there is plenty of natural light and equipped facilities - free laundry facilities! Thank you Lisa!

Great.

  • 4 of 5

We spent 7 days here at the end of June with a family of 4. We loved the walk into Manly each day, catching the ferry, & riding the bikes up to the North Head. We also managed to visit Taronga Zoo, the CBD, Darling Harbour, Maritime Museum, Katoomba (3 sisters), Bondi Beach, Watsons Bay, South Head, & Palm Beach. In descending order of enjoyment, the ferries were excellent, trains not bad, and bus rides were terrifying! Sydney done well from Manly Beach Pad! Sydney is still sunny in winter - even their coldest weather didn't deter us. A very comfy and practical apartment.

Owner's Response: Hi Andy - thanks for your review and only sorry we didn't manage to meet up during your stay. I'm glad you put the bicycles to good use and sounds as though you made the most of your stay (which explains why we kept missing each other). Cheers for now, Lisa :)
