THE PEOPLE, THE STORY

Port Douglas Apartments on Macrossan Street has been created by 'lovers of coffee and holidays' partners Phil and Lisa whose dream was to share their holiday experiences of well located and stylish accommodation with travellers locally and abroad.

Phil and Lisa are proud to offer holiday accommodation which as been designed to make you feel comfortable. Each of their apartments have been individually decorated by an interior design stylist and the results are outstanding.

Port Douglas Apartments on Macrossan Street was born from the vision of a 'think-outside-the-expected' type of couple. Phil and Lisa offered their one-bedroom self-contained apartment in 2008 for others to share and enjoy. Now eight years on they offer under their banner of Port Douglas Apartments: one-bedroom self-contained apartments on the corner of Macrossan and Davidson Streets, Port Douglas. Plus under their banner of Port Douglas on Macrossan: they offer one-bedroom, two-bedroom self-contained apartments, a hotel room and more recently a three-bedroom apartment for holiday rental on the corner of Macrossan and Wharf Streets, Port Douglas.

Our Apartment is situated in the heart of Port Douglas, located on the corner of Macrossan and Davidson Streets within the Port Douglas Apartments complex - only 100 steps to Four Mile Beach and across the road is the start of the great shopping and restaurants Port Douglas has to offer. This is arguably one of the best positions in Macrossan Street.

Definitely a great location...and who needs a car...you can walk to the beach, the shops, the Marina, the Sunday Market, the restaurants, cafes and galleries plus the fabulous lookout (although the hill for this walk is rather steep) and so much more.

This boutique style one bedroom apartment has been individually decorated by an interior design stylist, has its own private balcony including a view to Flagstaff Hill. The apartment is fully self-contained, including cooking facilities provided in the apartment, you can use the barbecue facilities available within the apartment complex or if you prefer to eat out or get takeaway as the restaurants are all within an easy stroll from your front door.

PORT DOUGLAS APARTMENTS ON MACROSSAN STREET (est. 2008)

The boutique style apartment is self-contained with a private balcony overlooking Flagstaff Hill. Your apartment will be made up for you on your arrival with fresh linen and towels, including beach towels, also you will find a starter pack which consists of essentials such as shampoo and conditioner, soap, toilet tissue plus tea and coffee. This is a non-smoking apartment.

The apartment has a kitchen with full refrigerator, hotplates, microwave oven (no oven) and dishwasher, the kitchen adjoins the dining and living areas which opens out to the private balcony. The bedroom has a queen bed with ensuite, shower/bath and hair dryer. The apartment has air conditioning and ceiling fans, TV, DVD player.

The complex has an in-ground swimming pool and spa, barbecue area, free onsite laundry facilities (washing machine and clothes dryer), onsite undercover car parking.

Your apartment will be made up for you on your arrival with linen and towels, including beach towels also supplied, also you will find a starter pack of basic essential consumables. Our starter packs consist of essentials such as shampoo and conditioner, soap, toilet tissue, plus tea and coffee.

Port Douglas is situated an hour's drive north of Cairns. Enjoy your trip along the Captain Cook Highway by taking in some spectacular scenery and coastline, with lush mountains on one side and the Barrier Reef on the other. Upon reaching Port Douglas you are at the doorstep of two World Heritage listed places, the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest.
