About the property

This modern spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex, attached only at the fully enclosed single garage, boasts an excellent position in a quiet street in the suburb of Urangan. It is within easy walking distance to many of Hervey Bay’s best attractions and restaurants. The duplex’s high quality furnishings and private, fully fenced garden area will provide a restful home at the end of your fun-filled days. The duplex comprises of 2 queen size beds and an extra single mattress that can be put on the floor. The duplex also has an outdoor setting and a BBQ for outside dining.

You are only a few minutes walk to the Bay’s famous pier (excellent for fishing), quiet sandy beaches, esplanade bikeways and walking tracks. For the less active visitors a variety of grassed picnic areas, restaurants, casual dining, coffee shops, eateries are all with magnificent water views across to the famous Fraser Island. A 15 minute walk along the scenic path will bring you to Hervey Bay’s vibrant marina, with another selection of shops and restaurants including the renowned Boat Club (with courtesy buses) and access to all the available Fraser Island connections and sight-seeing tours. A similar distance in the opposite direction you have Hervey Bay’s Botanic Gardens and the Urangan Central shopping complex for all of your shopping needs.

If you have your own boating vessel the harbour boasts excellent boat ramps for easy access to Hervey Bay’s waterways or the River Heads boat ramp is a short drive away if you prefer fishing the Mary and Susan river systems.

All linen will be provided. Permission for an outside dog may be considered upon request.

Great Little House!

My family had a very enjoyable time at this home. Close to a great Italian restaurant we went to twice along with the Australian cuisine restaurant with massive portion sizes. A nice beach for the kids and local shops for everyday items or just down the road and the tourist shops are just within 5 minutes. If Hervey Bay becomes our go to holiday destination I hope to stay here again.

All the comforts of home.

This is a great home away from home - located within five minutes walk of the pier, coffee shop, nice Italian restaurant, and beachside and park walks. Inside it is very clean, easy-on-the-eye decor, comfy beds, good showers, well-equipped kitchen, secure parking, and a great grassy area in a secure yard for our dog. The owner has thought of everything, and has provided some useful items not usually found in holiday accommodation. We hope to holiday there again one day.

We loved the location of this property and the little extras that the owner provided. Cling Wrap, Baking Paper, Salt and Pepper and an array of Spices. The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortably furnished and provided a spacious base for our stay. Close enough to the beach and restaurants but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing 'at home' feel property

What a great property!! Great location, very central, close to the pier, restaurants, cafes and close enough to walk to the marina. The beach is just a 5 min walk down the road. The house had everything we needed, very well equipped to entertain if you feel the need and you had everything to be able to cook what ever meal you fancied. We took our 2 small dogs with us and found the yard surprisingly large. We were able to sit back in the air-con if we wanted or rode our bikes on the bike/walking tracks to the beaches, cafes or marina...

The property was exceptionally clean, modern and airy and very comfortable, we felt very at home there...

We will be back and are planning to stay at Hervey Bay Holiday House again. Loved it...

A nice quite place so close to everything!

We had a lovely few days staying by the beach . This is a great place in a nice quiet spot but easy 5 minute walk to the Pier and shops. The dog loved it too, especially as it was within walking distance to the dog beach.
