An exceptionaly easy and pleasant stay.
John welcomed us at the door and showed us around this very comfortable cottage. Everything was there and ready including fresh bread and milk. After an in depth discussed about the various places to go and things to see we unpacked and settled in. Each evening as night fell John would light the fire in the cosy loung room. Highly recommended. Ron & Jennifer
Thank you for your review Ron and Jennifer. It was a pleasure to host your stay. We look forward of perhaps seeing you again. John
I just stayed overnight, but I could have happily stayed longer. Very comfortable historic cottage in a beautiful little town. I forgot the cottage had no oven (it only has a microwave), so couldn't cook up my dinner, BUT Marlene had left a generous amount of bread, cereal, fruit and milk, so I didn't go hungry.
Thank you for your review Christie. It is always a pleasure when to hear that a guest has enjoyed their stay. The oven is on our 'to do' list for the cottage. Best wishes Marlene
a lovely stay
A delightful 4 days in a comfortable well provided residence situated within easy walking distance of the main street. Beds very comfortable, spacious bathroom and kitchen well equipped. Our amicable hosts, Marlene & John were quick to assist us with any queries or needs. All in all a place we'll be keeping in mind for future breaks.

Thank you for your review Stephanie. We look forward to seeing you in the future. John
The fire was already going when we arrived on a cold July evening. The cottage was as advertised and the breakfast items were a welcome addition. It was only a few minutes walk into the town. I would recommend this for a cosy weekend escape.
Thank you Glenda for your review.
ABSOLUTELY Magnificent !!!!!
Staying at Paddymelon was one of the most enjoyable nights out in my life .. a 4min walk to the main st of Clunes for a sensational meal at the National Hotel ... Plesently greeted at the door with the log fire already burning away and the house toasty warm .. All the options set out for us for breakfast and a huge selection of DVD's to chose from when kicking back later in the evening ... just a wonderful place to stay and a beautifully restored old homestead.
Thank you for your review Craig. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in the cottage.
