This glorious, single-level modern 3 large bedroom house has all your comfy furniture, bath towels, linen, doonas, rice cooker, utensils, cutlery, crockery, Chinese rice bowls, chopsticks, wine and champagne glasses, and essentials. Just bring your personal items.

This house is ideal for everyone. Families, singles, couples, business travellers, groups, wedding guests, honeymooners, interstate, overseas or busy local city guests can relax in the fresh air here. It can be booked as a gift for a break. Your family and friends can stay here comfortably.

The house is near the Dandenong Ranges and the Yarra Valley Wineries. It is always quiet and peaceful there, with plenty of fresh air and heaps of parking spaces. You can come and go anytime - 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.


The whole house has central heating available.

The large living room with full length windows, faces south and lets in plenty of natural light and is open with the dining room and kitchen.

The lounge room and dining room has air cooling and plenty of room to move. There are 2 large comfortable couches to relax with the home entertainment, including DVD player the wall-mounted LG 50 inch TV.

There is a supply of family movies and a Wii game console and some challenging games.

The kitchen, which faces the large private garden, has plenty of natural light and room for cooking. There are lots of cupboards with cooking pots and pans. We provide breakfast cereal and fresh milk to start your stay. There is also a choice of teas and coffee and a kettle and a rice cooker.


We supply high quality bed covers and pillow cases and all linen and doonas and covers.

The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and air-conditioner and ceiling fan.

The second room has a queen sized bed and a wall-mounted TV.

The 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. Up to 6 people can stay here comfortably. A cot can be set up.

Please specify your bedding arrangement so we can try to set up a spare bed if available.


The bathroom has a bath and a shower. The toilet is private and next to the bathroom in a separate room with its own door. There is a supply of shampoo and soap and high quality bath towels, face towels and mats.


The large fenced garden, is the perfect outdoor space for you or a family to relax. Enjoy the 3 gas burner barbecue under the large covered veranda. The fabulous large outdoor dining table set has many comfortable outdoor chairs from Remarkable Furniture.

There is a car port, with easy access via a wide drive-way allowing free parking for 4 cars. More cars can park in the wide and quiet street at no charge.

The house is wheelchair friendly with only two steps up at the front door.

The appearance may vary from the photographs shown here, due to upgrades, specific requirements of patrons and repairs. We are always upgrading to provide improved comfort for our guests.

In 2015, this house was freshly renovated with high quality paint throughout and has newly polished floors and carpet, and rugs and curtains and new furniture installed.

We will arrange a key. If possible, we will welcome you at the house and show you where everything is and how to use it. Once you know everything, we will leave you to enjoy your stay.

You can give the phone number to your family and friends to call you.

We will deduct the cost of any phone calls made from your deposit.

We have the whole house thoroughly cleaned and disinfected professionally after each guest leaves.

The Neighborhood


It is an easy to drive to Melbourne City or The Mornington Penninsula beaches for an uninterrupted drive of about 40 minutes via Eastlink.

From the house, it is a 4 minute walk to the bus stop for transport everywhere and Croydon Train Station. The train takes 40 minutes to Flinders Street in the City of Melbourne.

This home is close to The Dandenong Ranges, with everything they have to offer, including views of the whole City of Melbourne, Olinda with the Gold Medal winning pies from the very popular Pie in the Sky restaurant, the Cuckoo all-you-can eat Bavarian buffet and live German music and singing. Sassafras has the popular Miss Marple's restaurant serving the delicious Sunday Best desert. Next door is a tea house, selling all types of tea and ancient and modern tea pots and chocolate. You will enjoy the Flippin Pancakes restaurant. Of course, there are many more specialty restaurants, cafes and gift shops. Enjoy bush-walks, such as William Ricketts Sanctuary which is made of hand carved statues and is a stimulating walk with ferns and native forest around. National Rhododendron Gardens and for the florists among us.

There is fruit picking in season, including cherries and strawberries. Other natural delights include waterfalls and One Thousand Steps. The list goes on.

The Magnificent Yarra Valley is nearby, and hosts many wineries clustered together, including the famous Domaine Chandon Winery, and Rochford Winery. The Yarra Valley Dairy is always busy with cheese tasting. "Life is for living, wine is for sharing. Life is covered and relaxed."

Puffing Billy is a private steam train running daily tours through the Dandenong Ranges and forest.

The house is a 3 minute walk to Churinga Shopping Centre, which has Australia's largest 3 supermarkets, called Coles, Woolworths and Aldi. Next block has a 7-Eleven convenience shop, open 24 hours, and local cafes and retail shops and a homewares gift shop and Babyswim.

Opposite is a park with a footy oval.

It is a short walk to the BMX bike track and Dorset Public Golf Course.

5 minutes drive from the house, is the local famous Hahndorf chocolate cafe, with a children's big playground next to it.

Swinburne University, Croydon campus is only 3 minutes away from the house, by car, or a 30 minute walk.

This lovely house is in a residential neighborhood. For this reason, we expect you to respect the neighbors privacy, please.

From our street, turn right at Colchester Road, and drive for 3 minutes to the Canterbury Gardens Shopping Centre. As well as many cafes, Woolworths supermarket and other retail shops, is the Kilsyth Club. Turn right onto Canterbury Road and drive a few minutes to the Heathmont Golf Park, which has mini-golf.

It is 5 km to Maroondah Hospital and the new Ringwood Eastland Shopping Centre which is large and is just at the beginning of Mount Dandenong Road. This has cinemas and department stores and lots of cafes and restaurants and retail shops and supermarkets.

We are a short walk to the Bram Leigh wedding reception center.

Please check and close all the doors and windows each time you leave.

Switch off all lights and heaters and air-conditioners.

One person should be the official checker. Remember to take the key.

Outdoors, smoking is okay in the smoking areas, and please use the ash-trays.

Before you leave at check-out, please empty all the rubbish into the outside rubbish bins provided. Please return the key. Lost keys will incur a charge. If you leave before we come, please lock the key inside the house on the table.
