About the property

Close to Avignon, Isle sur la Sorgue, Ventoux and Lubéron

Old house in the heart of the village of Saint Didier renovated with taste. You will be charmed by its two terraces overlooking the countryside and its shaded garden where you can relax.

The kitchen and the bright living room have beautiful views over the countryside.

The house has two bathrooms, an indoor pool, a spa and a sauna.

The three bedrooms of a beautiful volume with double beds each have a special charm: a view of the village steeple or roof terrace and views over the countryside. Two people can sleep in the summer lounge (futon sofa).

If you come with your baby, we can provide a baby kit to lighten your luggage.

This village house on 4 storeys, with a small shaded garden with swimming-pool, is a secret gem in the heart of Saint Didier.

You will enjoy the quietness of the garden on the bank of a brook to relax in the lounge chairs and hammock, or cook on the barbecue and enjoy local specialties (Ice Nougat ...).

Throughout the year, you can use the spa, sauna and indoor little pool.

Two bedrooms have a private roof terrace that offers an intimate space.

Small shops of Saint Didier are close-by (200 meters), as well as restaurants and bistros.

Many leisure activities are available nearby: visits of listed villages and museums, wine routes, hiking, cycling, golf, kayaking, climbing, horse riding, swimming, cinema ...

In this house in the heart of this authentic and living village, you will taste the Provencal lifestyle: restaurants and bistros in the shade of plane trees, its medieval streets, the local farmers market, the manufacturer of nougat, shops at two steps ...

You will be ideally placed to discover the most beautiful sites of Provence:

- Avignon, the Papal Palace, its ramparts and its theater festival in July, 30 minutes

- L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, its canals, its antique dealers and flea markets, 15 minutes

- Fontaine de Vaucluse, the source of the Sorgue, 15 minutes

- Gordes and the perched villages of Luberon, 20 minutes

- Roussillon and its ochers, 20 minutes

- Venasque, its medieval village and its cherries, 5 minutes

- The sistercian abbey of Senanque, 15 minutes

- Carpentras, the capital of strawberries, 10 minutes

- The great wineyards of the Cotes du Rhone: Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, Beaumes de Venise, 20 minutes

A little bit further:

- Marseille and its 'Calanques' creeks, 1 hour 30

- Aix en Provence, 1 hour

- The Gorges of the Ardeche river, 1 hour 30

For cyclists and hikers, the Mont Ventoux and surrounding hills are close-by (15 minutes). We can advise you on walks and rides to suit your desires.

The Golf of Saumane, one of the finest courses in Provence (A 18 holes surrounded by wooded hills with views over the Luberon and the Monts de Vaucluse), is less than 10 minutes.

At 15 minutes, you can canoe down the river Sorgue during an afternoon.

Climbing fans can tackle the climbing walls of the 'Dentelles de Montmirail' (20 minutes).

Also a few kilometers from the village: horse riding, karting, swimming-pool, tree climbing, cinema.

Finally, many activities around Saint Didier will delight kids: landscaped garden with miniature trains (Jarditrain), discovery of the farm, playground ... Visit the Zoo of 'La Barben', 50 minutes.
