Attention to detail - stunning!
We were very lucky to be there when it snowed two days in a row. Such a treat! The house decor fixtures and fittings are so well considered with beautiful original Art Deco pieces. From the light fittings to the door handles and gorgeous Kaori pine floorboards. Lovely kitchen with quality cook wear, and a stunning clawfoot bath in the bathroom. The large gas fireplace and central heating were perfect in the extreme weather conditions. It's every tiny detail that is so well considered in this home that make our stay so much more special. If you like to be comfy and appreciate style - book with absolute confidence.
You sure did get the real winter weather during your stay! I am so pleased that the central heating and fireplace kept you all nice and cosy. Thanks for your review. You’re welcome back anytime. Regards, Maurice
What a brilliant way to see Australia the first time!
Adora Cottage was my family’s first accommodation stop on our first ever visit to Sydney and the Blue Mountains. Drove directly to Dora St after touching down at the airport!
We loved the experience staying in the suburb, in Katoomba, on a very quiet and peaceful street just a crossing away from the train station!
We particularly loved the kitchen island top where we had good conversations over bacon, eggs and sausages prepared in the cottage ourselves! - kitchen was so fully equipped (just buy washing liquid lol)
A friend recommended us here and I’ll do the same for others who want to have a memorable stay at the Blue Mountains!
I wished I stayed at least one more night...perhaps next time!
Good location, nice clean property. Easy communication with the property manager.
Very nice and tidy. Nice heritage to the cottage
"Adorable" Adora Cottage Katoomba
Have just returned from a 4 night stay in Katoomba @ Adora Cottage.
This is the first time we have done this sort of accommodation but it will not be the last. Our stay at Adora Cottage was very relaxing . The beds were very comfortable, the heating was fabulous , there were more gadgets in the kitchen than I have at home. The gardens were well tended and fitted in so well with the house. Dora street although very close to Katoomba town centre was so quiet and peaceful you felt as if you were nowhere near the hustle and bustle of Katoomba itself. I would recommend this house stay to anyone that was looking at staying in Katoomba for any length of time.
Even more beautiful in person!
I’m not sure how we were so lucky to book this beautiful home so close to the long weekend! It is impeccably clean, so charming and cosy, tastefully decorated in Art Deco style. It really is more beautiful than the photos! The beds were super comfy and the electric blankets a real treat! We thoroughly enjoyed utilising the kitchen to cook meals too and everything we needed was there including and electric mixer. Maurice is super prompt in all communication and very helpful! Thanks for providing such a perfect place for our mothers/daughters get away in the Blue Mountains!
