Privacy, views and tranquillity

  • 5 of 5

No doubt architecturally designed, this home offers an outlook that photos will never do justice.

Everything you need, with a sense of seclusion and eco-glamour. Well managed by friendly owners and smart lay out.

Amazing views - beautifully designed property

  • 5 of 5

Used for a small gathering of friends and family, the place worked really well for us all. The pictures don't really do justice to the views. Even with rain clouds scuttling across the sky it was still mesmerising.

Cosy fire with plenty of fuel and roos grazing around the lodge even during the day. The 'loo with a view' is also something to behold!

The bedrooms are somewhat open plan but very comfortable beds.

Peace personified

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect place to get away from the daily grind. The secluded location and incredible views ensure a peaceful holiday that cannot be fully appreciated unless you go here. The technology fast was difficult at first but ensured kids and adults alike had to resort to much more meaningful ways to interact including building forts and playing board games.

perfect family get away

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic place at a very fair price. Is ideally private and has the most incredible views down and over victor harbour which is only 15 drive away, but far enough to feel removed. I've lived in SA for 40 years and never seen the coast from this location, (now one of my favourite) . Surrounded by great national park and native birds and kangaroos visit and stay every day. Bunk house was perfect for early retiring kids, would highly recommend to families, if your from interstate or overseas this is a great place to get a feel of the country while still being close to amenities. Rooms are open plan, so have dividing walls but with open doorways. This is definitely a little secret South Australian treasure 10/10

We adored our stay here. Would highly recommend

  • 5 of 5

I wanted to provide a review to share about what a wonderful, refreshing and peaceful time we had during or stay at Springmount retreat! Thank you so much for providing such a safe haven from the busy and cement of city life :)

We loved waking up to gorgeous views, rugging up to enjoy homemade meals every night in front of the fire, and going for walks and drives in the surrounds. It is so secluded, for kilometres there were only kangaroos to view! It was a real pleasure. I enjoyed the ecofriendly element to this retreat. I saved showering for the warmest part of the day - it was chilly! Haha, all part of the experience.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review Jasmine. Some people have asked if the showers are hot? Which they most certainly are! Jasmine experienced some chilly mornings.
