beautiful house!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful weekend at Depree manor! The house is absolutely beautiful and has so much space and character. There is a great backyard and patio area! We received such great communication with check-in times and information as well as quick answers to any questions we had prior to coming. We are so thankful we found such a perfect spot for our girls weekend celebrating our dear friend. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Amazing place for a group of friends

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at this GIGANTIC mansion.

We had plenty of space to spread out, play yard games, and smoke an entire pig.

The house was fantastic and Laura and her crew really took care of us.

The only 2 downsides were quite small.

1. We couldn't get the hot tub to work. We followed the directions, but i think it may actually have an issue.

2. Some of the lights were hard to find and figure out how to turn on. There are labels everywhere which is very nice and helpful, but some of the rooms were just hard to figure out. Makes sense with an old house, but a small grip none the less.

Bottom line: House was amazing and would definitely stay there again.

Perfect for Family Gatherings

  • 5 of 5

We had several families come together at The Manor for a family reunion. Pictures don't do this property justice. Large family gathering places inside and out, roomy well-equipped kitchen and dining areas for eating-in (only need to bring food), spacious bedrooms and baths. We didn't leave the place the entire weekend except for golf. Loaded with nooks and crannies with period pieces. This home goes on and on and on. Our family ranged in age from 9 months to 74 years -- everyone enjoyed the entire weekend of getting away and living in a true mansion atmosphere. Laura was quickly responsive to our questions and requests. Highly recommend The Manor for family and couple gatherings meant for relaxation and just being together.

Impressive perfect weekend

  • 5 of 5

The Manor is phenomenal enough said. The pictures do not do justice. We spent Father's Day weekend there, we had not stayed together in 40+ years. There was a lot of aggravating and getting on each other's nerves , just like when we were kids that was really nice. There was more than enough room to spread out our age range was from 6 to 80 .Everything was well above our expectations. We would like to thank everyone who helped make our weekend so amazing. The Manor is a beautiful home.

Sweet house!

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommended for groups (we had 12 so some had to use blow up mattresses but there is plenty of space). We made great use of the bar/speakeasy downstairs. Ice machine was a big help. The house is in close proximity to Lake Macatawa and we took taxis to play golf and go to dinner in Saugatuck.

Definitely would go back with a big group for a weekend getaway.

The property manager was very attentive and helpful. They keep the house done very well. Clean and in great shape. Awesome outdoor space as well.

Fantastic Girl's Weekend

  • 5 of 5

I cannot stress enough what a wonderful time was had by all at the mansion. The place is appointed beautifully with antiques and curios from the 1920's. We spent the first hour just walking around with our mouths agape. The rooms are large, the bedding sumptuous, and the amenities sublime. We enjoyed this house so much that we opted out of going out on the town either Friday or Saturday night, preferring to stay in and sip cocktails, lounge in the hot tub, and even play hide and seek in its multitude of rooms. While slightly off the beaten path, this place is a hidden gem close to beaches and Saugatuck (12-15 mins). Ideal for groups and gatherings as any event would be incredibly enhanced by its style and character (and don't even get me started on the Speakeasy- unreal!). We had no issues getting our security deposit back and management was very obliging and helpful.
