Everyone loves that this rental feels away in a mountainous area with lake view, but only 4 miles from downtown Hot Springs Historic Area. Sleeps 6 in beds. A blow up mattress available to accommodate 8
quiet peaceful area with beautiful trees and views. Owner cleans and maintains this rental. Cabin feel on outside/condo feel inside
The house was very clean and comfortable. Had satellite dish and wifi available. All the comforts of home. Having a fenced in backyard was nice. The view from the front porch was beautiful and calming. We even got to see some baby deer and other local wildlife. It was only a 10 minute drive to bathhouse row and nightlife.
The only recommendation I would have for the property owners would be that they trim the tree and bushes by the front porch. This would improve the view and make it much easier to go down the front steps into the yard.
I will certainly keep this property in mind for the next time I visit Hot Springs.
3 couples stayed a week in the house and found nothing to complain about. Plenty of room for all in the living room, house clean, dining table large enough for us all to sit together to eat, beds comfortable, and a/c kept the house cool even in the hottest part of the day. Best thing you'll want to do is sit out early (around 5:30 to 6:00) and watch for the deer to come out of the woods to eat. The kitchen had most any utensils you would need, and cabinets were stocked with quite a few things. There is a file book on the counter that is helpful giving directions as well as some brochure to look over. I talked with Lisa when we first arrived and she was very nice to answer my few questions. We enjoyed the front porch more than the large back area due to the heat. We think the large privacy fence blocked the breezes, but it will be nice in the fall when weather is cooler. As for location, it seems far out, but it really didn't take but a few minutes to be right down town so that wasn't a problem for us. Overall, was a very nice stay in a lovely home and would recommend to friends.
The cabin was in a great location and very clean. There was plenty of room for 5 adults, two toddlers, and two mid-size dogs. The layout of the house was setup to be functional and roomy. The common areas - kitchen and living room - were very open and clean with plenty of space for kid toys and lounging. We were not on top of each other at all. The bedrooms were also a pretty nice size. The bathroom that was connected to the master bedroom was big enough to accommodate four adults. Overall, we were very pleased.
The only (minor) downside was that we didn't really have a yard for the kids to run around and play. With two toddlers, we had to be wary of where the children were running. While the street and area is not very busy, cars drive somewhat fast down the hill connecting to the driveway. For safety, we had to be sure that the children and dogs stayed away from the road. Not a big deal. The view and beautiful cabin combined with the location outweighed the drawback.
We would stay here again :)
My stay on this property was absolutely amazing and satisfying! The view is gorgeous and the house sits on this little hill overlooking a small lake. The house itself is spacious and super well taken care of. The pictures provided were completely accurate. The kitchen and rooms are well stocked and clean. The beds were super comfortable. The owners were super helpful through email and all the instructions for us were left in a little binder with directions to the closest convenience stores, etc. Overall is an amazing property and the Hot Springs Village was so quaint. I would definitely love to return here and rent this property again!!
It was very nice and beautiful, clean. We would like to go and stay again. Plenty of room for my family.
I came here for a long weekend with six other women for my daughter's bachelorette party and we all loved this house. The view was beautiful and the space in the house was perfect for a group of 7 or more. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. I will definitely refer this rental to friends and book again for future trips.
