About Lem Lucia

My name is Lem Lucia. I manage 11 vacation homes in the community of Lava Falls and own 1 home in the Entrada community of Lava Falls. My family and I relocated to this beautiful area from San Clemente, California in 1992 and haven't looked back! We love this beautiful area nicknamed 'Color Country' because of the intense red rocks and contrasting black lava rocks with the intense blue sky. We love to hike, bike, snow board, camp, fish, hunt and sight see in our spare time. We always have "company" because our family and friends love to come out to see us and visit all that Southern Utah has to offer.

We strive on keeping our home the way we'd appreciate it being if we were staying at our home - very clean and comfortable. Our home is also convenient and centralized to all of the sightseeing in the area and a quiet and safe community.

What makes this house unique

We have miles of beautiful paved and unpaved hiking and biking trails right out the door of our home. We are centralized to sightseeing and only 1 mile from The Snow Canyon Softball Complex, 5 minutes from Tuacahn and Snow Canyon State Park. We are 10 minutes from downtown St. George and historic Santa Clara and Kayenta's Coyote Gultch.

Southern Utah is often referred to as 'Color Country'. There are a number of natural scenic wonders and National Parks all within a days drive. Parks include Zion, Bryce, North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Snow Canyon State Park. Beautiful Lake Powell is also just a day trip from your Lava Falls Vacation home.

We are located less than a mile to the Canyons Softball Complex. One of the top rated Softball complex in the U.S. The Womens JUCO National Championships are held here. There are a wide variety of sporting tournaments year round. We also host the World Huntsman Senior Games. Over 10,000 seniors from more than 40 countries come to St. George to test their athletic skills. The week before the Senior Games is the St. George Marathon. It's a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. We also host the Ironman Triathlon in May. Not for the faint of heart, many say this is the most challenging Iron man in the world.

Of course St. George is renowned for it's golf courses.

Beautiful, relaxing, well-located condo

Loved staying at Lava Falls, large semi-detached home with spacious garage. Quiet neighborhood, super comfy beds and very nice and responsive property manager. Would highly recommend for a golf, hiking or cycling vacation. Perhaps a second set of dishes would be nice so as not to run the dishwasher after most meals.

We felt so comfortable and welcome. It was close to the Tuacahn Theater and such a beautifully decorated home. It had very comfortable beds and a lovely kitchen and living room. Loved having a garage to park our car. We will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived to find the place just what we wanted,

We loved the place. The place was exactly what we wanted and what was told to us. The location was perfect, it was clean and beautiful inside and outside. We were able to go to town and enjoy several of the restaurants that was suggested to us. Great location, activities that we wanted, hiking, etc. We look forward to our next stay. The property was maintained very well and we felt very comfortable.

Clean and Comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean with comfortable beds and lots of room. The property manager was very helpful even when we locked ourselves out one night. The kitchen was great and we made several meals in it. We will be back!

Bate & Switch

Disappointed. RENTER BEWARE! We stayed 5 nights. We received a pre occupancy bill for $82 more then the contractual amount. Owner also has a no cancelation policy, even though we booked 5 months in advance. The property (#91366) shows different furniture then is in the unit. Pictures show a mountain view. There is no view. Information on the unit states there is an outside grill. There in none on the property. Also indicates master bedroom upstairs. This is a one story unit.

Owner's Response: I am extremely surprised at this review. Jerry was there for 5 nights and I never heard a word from him. Our on-site office, which is staffed 6 days a week, is catty-corner to this home that he reserved and stayed in. We are available 24/7 by phone, text or email. We both respect the privacy of our guests and at the same time if at anytime you have needs, questions or concerns we would love to hear from you. Being residents and outdoor enthusiasts we love to share the local "Secret Spots" to any of our guests. Whether you're hiking, biking, golfing or want information on the theater, galleries or dining we are more than happy to share our favorites with you. When you use the Request to Book feature through Home Away they charge a service fee that they keep 100% of. That is part of the detailed quote that is shown before you make your reservation. BBQ's are available on request as stated in the listing. We stow them in the maintenance building to ensure that they are clean, well kept and in good working order when you need them.
