Great place to stay for a group of adults

We really enjoyed our weekend at this house. Ten adults and the house accommodated us well. A few minor issues that we will take up with rental agents but overall a really great house, close to Bowral, Mittagong, Moss Vale etc.

Spacious property

Stayed here for three nights (could have stayed for weeks). 5 good sized rooms. Two with ensuite. Very spacious and finished to a high level. You'll wish it was your own. Cannot fault it. Rural and quiet yet still near enough (by car) to shops and food. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Property

We were in Bowral for a wedding and stayed for 2 nights.

The home was lovely and we had a great weekend, until I received the bill for nearly $200 to replace towels that they claimed were unable to be cleaned.

I phoned to complain and was told that they had to replace towels, bath mats and hand towels.

I suggested that maybe they should not have white towels and was informed that they were thinking of changing towels.

We have stayed in many properties and have never had an issue with laundry before, and the was no way the lady was going to budge an inch on what they had charged.

Overall I was very upset over the whole incident as we had left the house in a very clean state.

Owner's Response: We are so glad that you enjoyed Fairholme, it is a great property. The owner of this property has been very careful to offer the best quality linen and towels, all of which were replaced in December 2015. With all due respect, it is not fair for the owner to have to replace brand new towels which were ruined by guests removing makeup with them. In fact we supply make up remover wipes at Fairholme to ensure that the towels are not used for make up removal, it's a shame that these guests didn't use them. Unfortunately, make up is manufactured to stay on and it does exactly that, not only on faces but towels as well. Fairholme is a fantastic property with quality linen and most guests appreciate and respect it accordingly.
