Great apartment in South Melbourne

We stayed nearly two weeks at this well appointed modern apartment in South Melbourne. Great location, with only a few minutes walk to two different tram lines, a large Coles supermarket, lots of restaurants along and around Clarendon and of course South Melbourne markets. Don't miss the Night Food Truck markets if you are there over summer. The apartment is large with lots of cupboard space. The kitchen is tiny (and may be a challenge for the not-so-tall) but totally adequate for breakfast, lunch and simple meals. Being on the 4th floor, the view from the balcony over South Bank at sunrise and sunset was amazing. The only reason I will give it 4 stars and not 5 stars was that the lift was out of order for nearly the whole time we were there ... just lucky we are able bodied and eager to get our step counts up! ... those stairs were a killer ... the lift now has a new motor so all should be good for the next guests.
