Why Lem Lucia chose Utah

This property has the most amazing red mountain and lava field views as soon as you walk through the front door. Guests who stay at this property love it because the home is so comfortable and the views are stunning. Awesome stay!

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 3 grown daughters! With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it provided privacy, convenience and comfort for all not to mention it was well-maintained and extremely clean. It is beautifully decorated and the view is amazing. We saw 8 kinds of wildlife right from our backyard...even a roadrunner!! We practically had the pool area to ourselves and the water was perfect during the extremely HOT week we stayed there. The location was exactly what we were looking for as it was very quiet yet only 5-10 minutes from a variety of restaurants, shopping, etc. We loved Harmon's, which was comparable to Wegman's, just a few minutes away for our grocery shopping.

Since we flew into Las Vegas airport and had time to spare before checking in to the house, we took a suggested route to see Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire State Park which were both very worthwhile! We went to Zion about 1 hr. away and Bryce Canyon about 2.5 hrs. away but no need to worry about the drives because the journey offers amazing views and scenery! The parks themselves were easy to find and navigate and we all enjoyed hiking a few of the easier trails. We also went to Kolob Canyon and Snow Canyon and each park is a little different. We sat on the sand dunes at Snow Canyon on our last night of vacation until the stars came out since the park is open until 10:00 p.m. What a serene and beautiful way to end our trip.

I highly suggest Windows of the West Hummer Tours out of Kanab. We did the 3 hour Peel-a-boo Canyon tour and our guide, Whitney, was very knowledgeable about the area and it's history. Walking through a slot canyon was a highlight and we also saw Indian ruins and the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.

Our favorite places to dine were the Anasazi Steakhouse which is a new concept in dining where your food is cooked on a hot stone and the Cliffside Restaurant with a lovely view of St. George, especially as the sun is going down.

The Peter Pan show at Tuacahn Ampitheater was very enjoyable; however, it was quite hot. It was still 99 degrees when we left at 11:00 at night!

Lastly, the manager, Lem was extremely helpful especially when we locked ourselves out of the house the second day. He made sure we had an extra key when we returned from our day sightseeing. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful home in so many ways!

Incredible Views and Location

  • 5 of 5

This home was perfect for the six friends who came for golf, tennis, hiking, and biking. There are incredible views of the lava fields, red rock, and mountains from the living room and master bedroom. The entire home was immaculate upon our arrival and the kitchen had all of the necessary amenities for cooking. A fabulous grocery store called Harmon's was down the road for daily shopping. Seating area in the back patio is private and was perfect for reading or napping. All of us were impressed with the location and activities to do in the area. It was a fabulous vacation.

Great get away from home!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time staying at Lava Falls. It worked great for our family. I absolutely loved the HUGE windows that looked out to the Lava fields. It rained while we were there and even though we didn't get to go hike and swim as planned, we stayed in and played games and watched movies as a family. It was a great vacation!

Absolutely Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here with our teenage daughter as well as some friends and their teenage daughter. Everything was clean and in good repair, the rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. The view, the location, the security, and the overall ambiance of this space was exactly as stated and perfect for our group. We will absolutely stay here again.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your nice review! We strive to keep our home super clean and have everything working well - just the way we'd want it if we were the guests. The stunning view as soon as you open the front door is what sold us on this home along with the peaceful, quiet setting and centralized proximity to many sights. We hope you will stay with us again if you're back in the area again!

Beautiful, spacious, clean, and convenient.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and teenage daughter stayed here along with our friends and their daughter for a weekend. The set up could not have been better--privacy for everyone, fully stocked kitchen, TV and internet worked seamlessly, and a beautiful space that met every expectation. The owner has left easy to understand instructions, everything was clean and in good working order, and the backyard views were gorgeous. We chose this instead of a hotel and will absolutely stay here again when we come to St. George next. No complaints at all. We highly recommend this space.
