Tiny cabin, great verandah!

  • 4 of 5

I stayed here for 5 nights in May and enjoyed my time in Sparkling Springs Cabin. It is very small, but I was pleased with all the supplies such as ample towels, soap, kitchen utensils, etc. I noticed there were lots of hooks which are very useful for hanging towels or light bags. I think some shelving, especially in the bathroom would be a great addition as there was no space for toiletries. There were some breakfast provisions provided which I didn't use, but would have if I hadn't brought my own. The double bed was very comfy. Another little touch which I appreciated was a night light near the bathroom. A welcoming lamp was on when I arrived, and in the evenings it provided a lovely, warm ambiance.

Comfortable

  • 3 of 5

Sparkling Springs Cabin was the ideal spot to be for our getaway on a budget. The accommodation was welcoming and clean. Everything you needed was supplied including all linen, cooking utensils, pots and pans. The cabin was compact but not cramped and suitable for a family of four. The location was convenient being close to the town centre and only a 10 minute drive to Ballarat. Would fully recommend for a short family holiday.

Quaint and charming

  • 5 of 5

I stayed here with some friends and it was a comfortable and clean accommodation.

Though the interior is small it is all well laid-out and would suit a couple or a small family. The highlight is the impressive verandah and front garden which is welcoming and unique. There's plenty of space for parking and it's close to everything within Creswick.
