This two bedroom, three bath duplex is located in the Pleasure Isle Subdivision located close to all of the area activities. Shopping, restaurants, fishing, boating, and golfing are all close by.
The subdivision has deeded beach access across the street so there is no need to worry about finding public access if you want to relax at the beach on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. In addition the subdivision features an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court.
This duplex comes with all of the comforts of home. The main level of the home has covered decks on both the North and South side of the unit with views of both the gulf and Little Lagoon. The interior highlights a spacious living area along with the dining area and modern kitchen. The living area offers a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping and there is a full bath off the entry foyer. Upstairs you will find the master bedroom and second bedroom. The master bedroom features a vaulted ceiling with a king bed and private full bath. Sliding glass doors lead to the private balcony where you can see the sun set over Little Lagoon. The guest bedroom has one twin bed and one bunk bed; great for children. This bedroom is accompanied by a full bath.
The duplex is located on Lagoon Avenue, just miles from shopping, restaurants, amusement parks, mini golf and the zoo. It is within walking distance of a small grocery store, bar and grill and custard stand.
An additional security deposit may be required during certain weeks (such as spring break weeks). Renters much be at least 25 years old and there is no smoking permitted in this home.
My family and in-laws stayed in this vacation rental for our annual family vacation. We can't say enough good things about it; it has a great location, was clean and comfortable, conveniently located near the beach (just a short walk), abundantly furnished, and overall, just awesome. An added bonus was the 3 bathrooms, considering we had 7 people staying in the condo. It was the perfect retreat for our family to have long nights of playing family games, long lazy beach days, and a time of escape and refreshment from the hectic-ness of every day life. I highly recommend it!
Lazy Daze was perfect! The house was immaculate and roomy. Loved the master bedroom! Our group consisted of five adults (ages 18-49) and two little people (ages 6 & 2). The beach access is a short walk across the main highway and is private; so nice since it definitely cuts down on the amount of crowds on that section of the beach. The pool is just a few feet from the house. Close proximity to markets and restaurants. The office where we picked up the keys, right off 59, is on the way to the house. All staff there were super nice and extremely accommodating when we were concerned about heavy traffic causing our arrival to be past their closing. I would love to stay here again and would recommend anyone to do the same!
We have now finished our 4th stay at Gulf Shores, and more specifically at Lazy Daze. This property by far is the most convenient, comfortable, and quiet locations you can choose to stay at. Lazy Daze has ALL the amenities of home. It is just as clean and cozy now, as it was the first time we visited back in 2012. My wife and kids could not imagine staying anywhere else in Gulf Shores but Lazy Daze. You are within walking distance of a nice pool and one of the best beaches in America. Mere minutes away from some of Gulf Shores finest restaurants. And yet it's quiet enough on the West Beach side to feel miles away. Believe me when I say, do NOT settle for a high rise condo. Don't spend tens of thousands on some overpriced beach house. Lazy Daze, the perfect location for the serious traveler coming to Gulf Shores.
We loved the house. Cleaning was impeccable. Huge Master Suite was awesome! Owner was perfect to work with... Literally nothing bad to say about the house. The community pool was great. The only reason I give it a 4 is the proximity to the beach. It is a lot of work to get to the beach with 4 kids when you have to cross a busy street. Even so, within our budget, this is the perfect place to stay. We will stay again.
Overall, great location in proximity to Hangout Music Festival which is what we went down for. A short walk across the street to the beach which is nice and quiet/family friendly.
We arrived early so we had to wait for check in at the recommendation of the rental office we grabbed lunch at the Cove right next door. Best burgers and drinks!! Rental staff was very friendly. We went inside the house and you could smell it was freshly clean.. Not old and musty like some beach houses can be. The house was very nice, loved the large master bedroom. [it does get toasty in there so if you like it cool bring a fan] but having the skylights are very nice!!! Lots of sunshine! Pool was nice never crowded. The hike to the beach wasn't too bad, but we learned how to drive over to the walk way and drop off our stuff by the beach and come back and walk back over. At our daughters request we ate at Lambert's Home of the throwed rolls. If you like southern country cooking this is the place to be. Outlet Mall was very nice but NOT all stores are Outlet. The Wharf was really nice we took the little drive over lots of cute little shops and the daiquiri bar was delightful! Over all its a 5 star place to stay! Loved our trip Matt was extremely helpful prompt returning emails and we even had the pleasure of meeting his family who are residents in the villa also!!
