Hidden behind the convict built stone and brick exterior is "THIRTEEN"".

Lovely Oak flooring with stylish designer leather couches and hip interiors .

The location is only 10 minutes walk from the city CBD and 50 metres from Salamanca, and is perfect for the executive traveller or tourist looking for a quality accommodation with privacy and convenience.

All brand new stone top, kitchen with gas cooking and new bathroom . Good log gas heating and fully self contained with all the mod cons. Cafes minutes away. Good grocery shop 4 minutes walk . There are two large bedrooms , one with a queen sized bed and the second with a queen sized bed and a single . Both are on the first floor , accessible by a flight of stairs , which are not suitable for elderly or people who are mobility impaired or small children . These stairs are typical of Georgian houses and more inclined than standard stairs , so don't book this property if stairs are a problem ..

If requiring a twin or triple , please request at the time of booking as the second bedroom may be closed.

We do charge an additional $40 for cleaning charges for a one night booking .

*** NBN wifi is available free of charge. We would appreciate it if the internet was only used for basic emails and booking details , and not for long downloads and extensive games .

Private rear decks and free parking off street behind the house.

The price is unbeatable and we also offer great discounts for booking a week.

On paying the deposit you shall be given the address and key code to access the property with a self check in, or if you supply ETA your host can also meet you at the arranged time.

It would help immensely it if you could notify us previously, if you know you are leaving before your actual checkout time of 10am. on departure day. This would assist our cleaner's arrangements

There is a small car spot at the back of the cottage available for your use.

ALSO CHECKOUT "FIFTEEN", identical property next door, if the dates you want are taken ..QUALITY FIT OUT, RIGHT NEXT TO SALAMANCA MARKET .

We prefer an EMAIL ONLY, as we often cant take calls . Although Stayz will send an email saying call the owner , the request via email is a better choice, unless you have a problem .

A perfect place to stay in Hobart

This lovely, renovated historic house is in a perfect position on the edge of Battery Point, so close to everything. The house is very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed, including a lovely, warm gas fire, comfy beds, modern kitchen, and a nice, sunny deck. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

A one off experience.

The property was well located and the gas heating was effective but overall, we were very disappointed. There was an electric blanket that was faulty.

The rear access parking was so challenging, that we chose to park our SUV on the street for the duration of our stay. Having the only toilet at the bottom of the steep Georgian stairs made it a safety risk during the night. Our SMS to the owners on the night of our arrival remained unanswered for the duration of our two night stay.

Having happily stayed in other Battery Point properties over a period of ten years , we would recommend other accommodation, rather than " Thirteen ".

The four guests in "Fifteen " likewise said they would not return.
