3 bedrooms, 1 bonus room, 4 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom, sleeps 7.

The house has 2 bedrooms on the first floor, each with a private bathroom and a large closet. One of the bedrooms has a full bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds. The master suite, with king size bed, is on the second floor with a walk-in closet and beautiful bathroom. The master suite also has a large terrace overlooking the lake and golf course. With a southern exposure and large windows, the master suite is full of light, life, and great views of the surroundings.

The kitchen, living room, dining room, reading area, laundry patio with washer and dryer and bonus room /guest room with private bathroom and independent access are located in the first floor.

The front yard has a 1 space carport. There is room next to the carport for a second vehicle.

The home is on a the cul de sac, so the front of home is quite.

The backyard faces and has direct access to the lake. There is a kayak on the property, swimming off the back yard is refreshing all year, and fishing is popular and permitted in the lake.

In this high end community, maintenance of common areas is impeccable. All new construction has to follow a strict building code that includes the outside design in a modern colonial style; bricks, stone, wood a white stucco is required so that there is a community feel to the neighborhood.

San Gil is one of the most beautiful places to live and to spend your holidays or just a romantic weekend.

Why Cristina Arroyo chose Mexico

I bought this house when it was not finished and abandoned. I did not have to see the interior of the house to fall in love with the location and the promising future of this property. I just returned from Greece when I started the remodeling work that became an act of love, as the house needed much more work than expected. This home has become one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy the sound of birds, the water views. Whoever walks in inevitably falls in love with this unique place, the lake is the heart of the house and the decor invites to enjoy life!

What makes this house unique

Directly on the lake, privacy; comfort, privacy and one of the best locations of San Gil; located less than 10 minutes from a major highway, making it easy to get to the most important cities in central Mexico. The home has a southern exposure, large windows and the best view you can imagine.

Wonderful lake house, perfect vacation.

We stayed at San Gil for 4 weeks. We were a family of 6 including my parents. What a great place to stay! The views to the lake and the large terrace facing the lake and golf course were our favorite part of the house, my kids enjoyed swimming on the lake every day.

The trail around the park was wonderful to run, so pretty and convenient for the 'elders' to get some nice walks in too. The kids made some friends, San Gil is a friendly place.

We felt very safe at all times, San Gil security staff is very efficient, only residents have access to San Gil.

The location served us wonderfully, Queretaro the capital city has interesting museums and places to visit within 30 minutes of the property!

This house is in great shape, nicely decorated and was extremely comfortable, clean, quiet and easy to enjoy, the cleaning lady was a bless, she knows what to do and gave us some extra hours of rest!

Mexico has the best weather! No AC or heat needed, we were able to open the Windows and let fresh air in (what a treat!).

The house was very affordable for our party of 6. We opted to have more meals in than we originally planned for since it was so convenient and comfortable to just eat there!

The golf course is amazing; We even took some golf lessons.

San Juan del Rio the closest city is small and charming has everything we needed, great restaurants, grocery stores, even a Sam’s store!

Queretaro and San Miguel Allende are also very close, we never thought this are of Mexico would be so beautiful and affordable, peaceful and eternally sunny!

We felt in love with San Miguel Allende and stayed there one night at a beautiful Boutique hotel.

Cristina the owner was always available to help and answer to our questions, she does a great job and knows how to make you feel at home.

Leaving San Gil was the most difficult part of our trip. Perfect vacation made even better by finding this great rental.

Vacaciones inolvidables

Pasamos 7 días en la casa del lago San Gil, y nos encanto todo, el lugar es precioso, la casa esta impecable, limpia y muy bien equipada, las recamaras son muy amplias y los baños muy cómodos, todo funciona muy bien, es muy acogedora y decorada con muy buen gusto, lo mejor es la vista, es la mejor de San Gil, además es muy privada ya que la vista que tiene es totalmente al lago, y la calle es cerrada, no hay trafico más que de 2 casas mas, prácticamente nadie paso por la calle, en las tardes caminábamos por el parquecito que esta a una cuadra, el atardecer es precioso, no necesitamos salir más que por comida , hay un Super Q dentro del fraccionamiento, y un buen restaurant en casa club, San Juan del Rio esta a 10 minutos para comprar en la Comercial Mexicana, Querétaro esta a media hora y San Miguel Allende a 1 ½ hrs. Fuimos un día de compras es un lugar divino, vale la pena pasar un día ahí.

Volveremos pronto, ya que nos enamoramos del lugar, la Sra. Cristina es muy profesional y amable su asistente nos recibió y se puso a nuestras ordenes para cualquier duda, fue una semana inolvidable.

Recomiendo la propiedad, es lugar es mágico.

An amazing place and experience!

We stayed at Cristina’s lake house in late November of this year (2011) with some close friends. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was nicely decorated in a contemporary Mexican style with nice colors and textures. The lower floor is unique, invites you to enjoy the peaceful lake view, the large glass doors open directly to the lake.

My favorite place at the house is most definitely the terrace and its phenomenal views of the entire lake and golf course. We started and ended each day on the terrace with a great Mexican cup of coffee and appetizers. In addition the living area on the first level is just delightful. The house is very clean and in excellent condition. An additional bonus to our stay was the one block away park and its charming paths. We walked daily to relax and enjoy the perfect weather. San Juan del Rio, downtown area and other surrounding spots are easy to get to, taxis are inexpensive and easy to book. Cristina the owner was great and truly a blessing. When we return to Mexico we will most assuredly stay at this beautiful house, again.

Beautiful house, great location

We rented this house for one week because we wanted a place on a lake and in an exclusive, upper-end community. We were pleasantly impressed that the home looked so much better when we arrived than the photos show. The balcony off the master suite, overlooking the lake, really made it hard to come downstairs and join the real world! Needless to say, the home was tastefully decorated, very clean, and the owner a pure delight to deal with. She was professional, friendly, and always answered our emails quickly.

We walked around the lake in the mornings (roughly 2 miles) enjoyed the few dinners we had at the club house.

We also liked the fact that the house is on a cul-de-sac, so it is a very private location.

We completely recommend this property.
